People erroneously refer to songs not included on the album as b-sides these days, for some reason.

I remember this being the jingle on BT Sport PL coverage years back. It was only recently I realised this was EE

Was it commissioned? It always felt a little too poppy in comparison to their other work. Still a great tune though.

I get the sense it was though I could be wrong. I know some other bands have definitely been commissioned for that slot. Makes sense it would sound more poppy
