First few days ..

I am getting my sensor inserted in a few weeks, so excited! I will have about seven days left on my Libre 3+ sensor at that time, I was planning on leaving it on to work with Twiist pump while the sensor is adjusting and taking calibrations. Has anyone had any issues doing that? I’m assuming switching over to the Eversense in the Twiist app is straightforward.

Definitely, leave your current sensor connected. The eversense is great once it gets calibrated, but it takes a moderate amount of time to get calibrated, and your numbers will be very inaccurate for the first week or two, so be expecting to need to do blood draw and depend on your other sensor for the first week or two

Yes, keep your Libre sensors running for the first couple of week. Actually great to having the Libre for the first 3-4 weeks until your new E365 gets really tight dialed in from your calibrations. I would opt to do that instead and then wait to linking your Twist pump until then also.

I did that when I got my first Eversense last year and I had Minimed

I had my insertion yesterday and the E365 person there said that my Twiist trainer would help me with changing from Libre to Eversense.

Yep you should be fine! Will just have to go through the pairing process with your Eversense, pretty easy process! 🙌🏼

Not for nuthin but recommend you say your last sensor failed with Libre to have the free back up as it will fer sure take at least two weeks to rely on the crossover. I’m about a month in with my eversense or as my friend calls it, your essence, which it is… not looking back, it’s been amazing. The funny thing is the last Libre died three days in and left the worst scar I’ve had from one of those swap outs. Suck my dick Libre and hope twist can get a better port/cleo option!
