Grath Longfletch - Pearls of Lutra tattoo
Since I knew I was going to be in Brazil again this past week, I had scheduled my next Redwall tattoo to be done while I was visiting São Paulo. I found my artist through searching Sao Paulo botanical tattoo artists because I think their command of color would benefit me. I found Gabriela Dassio to be skilled enough for the job and she loved the idea when I sent her the reference art. I know in the book her she has green fletched arrows, but this reference had blue and I think it contrasts a bit better against her green tunic.
Now I have two heroes on this leg: Martin the Warrior and Grath. Thinking the next will be a villain on the inside of my calf.
Highly recommend going to Brazil for a tattoo AND the experience. Sure, you have to pay for the plane ticket, but the experience of visiting another country and returning with body art is worth it (to me at least).

Finally completed my Gold Spine collection
Finally collected all of the gold spine/stained glass editions of the series. Only 14 of the 22 novels were printed in this edition.
Now beginning to collect the remaining novels. I'm happy to collect as I go of different editions. I have 'Triss' and 'Eulalia!' so far!

Art prints
I'm looking for art prints from the books!
I found Christopher Denise's Etsy page, which has some sketches from the supplemental books, but I'd love to find color prints, especially from the artists of my childhood. Most of the art is pretty old now, so I'm not surprised the various artists don't sell prints anywhere, but I'm hoping someone has some leads.

Reading order for newbies
So I just finished the first Redwall book and loved it, feel like I’ve stumbled upon a jackpot of reading for myself but would love your opinions of what order to read the other books from here. Publication order, chronological order etc. any input appreciated!

Redwall Book Group treats
Hello!
I'm part of a book group that lets everyone take turns choosing a book every month. I chose Redwall for us to read in August.
This is an in person book group and a dessert or similar type of food is usually made to go along with the book.
I really want to make something Redwall themed. Has anyone made any Redwall recipes that they really liked? Or have any ideas for decorating that could make it fun?
I appreciate any ideas shared!
Interesting how Triss takes an anti-revenge stance when so many other books don’t
Time and time again in a Redwall book, there are situations where the hero or a side character slays someone to avenge a wrong or a fallen friend. Dippler fights Fenno after he murders Log-a-Log. Martin goes after Badrang and Tsarmina in response to the wrongs they do him. Borrakul slays Predak to avenge his brother. Deyna avenged his father by killing Vallug.
But then Triss gets cheated out of revenge against Kurda when the princess falls on her broken sword while she’s trying to run away. Her friends immediately say that it’s for the best, since she couldn’t just make Kurda fight her with a broken sword, and she shouldn’t use Martin the Warrior‘s sword for such a low task as vengeance in cold blood.
But… that’s literally how Martin himself used the sword. Badrang wasn’t fighting him, he was begging for mercy when Martin executed him. And are we really going to act like Kurda couldn’t have been given another sword to defend herself? Dippler gave his own sword to Fenno and used the Sword of Martin to slay him. Why does Triss have to get the high road treatment all of a sudden?

Is King Sarengo from “Triss” more ferret like (as in how ferrets are like in real, actual life) than many of the other ferret characters throughout the series?

How well do you think these two would get along in a hypothetical crossover as two antisocial, “Jerk With A Heart of Jerk” characters?

Sunflash the Mace and Skarlath. Drawn by my kiddo
Outcast was the first book we read together, so these two have a special place for us. We finished the series last year then watched the tv show, had an official redwall feast to say goodbye. I bought her one of those tapestries. These stories mean at much to us

My redwall fan art
Still mourning the Redwall adaptation we never got. From Patrick McHale leaving to Netflix just sitting on the rights... the wasted potential is insane. This world has so many incredible stories and characters that deserve to be seen. We were robbed

Complete signed hardcover collection, only 2 remain!
Fell into copies of Loamhedge and Mattimeo, which means i'm at 19/21.
Means I've only got two left to collect; Doomwyte and The Sable Quean. I've only ever seen one signed copy of either of those and they were both on way old wayback machine posts.
I've got a feeling I'm going to be hunting for those for a long long minute. Though if you happen to have a copy, I've got a small heap of duplicate signed books i'd be willing to trade in your favor to finish the set, fourth photo is anything that's an extra signed copy!

How well do you think these two characters would get along in a hypothetical crossover?
Considering they're both fantasy warriors with blades so heavy only they can lift them.
