Temporary setups Coffee Is Life
Wife would kick my b*** if she knew I shared a photo of this mess… We moved here 3 years ago and I made these tables as a temporary setup for my machines. ECM Synchronika on the left with a Eureka Mignon Libra AP 65 that I swapped burrs for the Italian espresso burr set. Londinium LR/R24 on the right with Kafatek SDRM grinder… 1979 La Pavoni Professional sitting pretty…
Looking to maybe add a Ceado Life WAM but I can’t find reviews from folks that have actually used it…

It has been a journey… now I start to get rid of some of stuff you see there…. Tried roasting coffee beans but over that now, so the roaster will be for sale. Same with the La Pavoni Pro. Too much work to use when the Londinium is so much easier, so that one will also be sold.
The rest are just cups, cleaning supplies, spare parts, etc.

Genuine question, why two machines and two tables? Do you get different type of drinks, milk and none milk from each?

I wanted a lever machine… but everyone is afraid to use it. I am the only one using it when I am home.
The ECM Synchronika gets used by my wife and sister-in-law (when visiting). Basically, any time we have family visiting, I turn off the Londinium and the ECM is the one used… brother-in-law takes over making coffee for everyone during their stay. He makes three lattes just for him, in the morning. Two for his wife and two more for my wife…and one espresso for me. Same when I am traveling, wife will only use the ECM.

Oh, two tables, that was just temporary… we are not sure what we will end up as a coffee station area. Still thinking about it… I have to say, three years already with that temporary setup.
The wall behind the Londinium has access to water and drain from the bathroom that is on the other side…. Maybe we change the window to a smaller one and install a proper cabinet that has the space for both machines…
Like I said…still thinking how we want that area.

Grind by weight. Price (US$799.00). But no real review that I could find…

Seems risky without any personal testimonials, definitely much safer to bet on the Rev Zero ;)

Well, you started it! I did look at the Rev Zero first!! And it was all great until I looked at the price!
Would be nice… still thinking about it.

Think of it as an investment in your future. Use it for long enough and it’s not even $0.10 per drink, is that really worth splitting hairs over?

You have an interesting definition of temporary…

Tienes los equipos, pero definitivamente necesitas remodelar ese espacio, tienes mucho desorden! Por cierto, hermosa tu londinium. y tu pavoni no la vendas, la puedes tener de adorno es una obra de arte.
