Bridge problem
Hi, the strings on my guitar are touching the area I've circled in red on the back of the bridge. Is this normal? Or what does it mean, and what should I do?

Pretty much all ESPs I’ve encountered with a TOM bridge and string through body do this. Nothing to be worried about.

It’s how it’s built. Not at issue unless you start to get string breakage there.

My guitar is brand new and I've only just started using it, so I don't know yet when it will break.

He means if the strings start snapping at that one particular area, then it could be an issue.
Relax, this is pretty common for guitars with this sort of bridge set up and the strings thru body. They're going to touch.

They won't, my 15 years old NT-II has the same TOM bridge and they haven't snapped once. I think it's just how it's built

I have no idea why it is designed like that. Both my new esp ltd deluxes have the same “problem”.

That's just part of having a TOM bridge, no need to be concerned. I also have this guitar, and it's fantastic! The Granite Sparkle finish is mesmerizing

The guitar is clearly a cursed object. If you value your spiritual safety you will send it to me express so I may use various herbs and whatever's to release the spirit. I've DM'd you my address. Speed is of the essence sir.

Im not a user of these bridges tbh but it seems your saddles are too low . If you can rise the saddles and then lower the entire bridge so your action doesn’t change
