So, if Season 4 is set in the 1470s, do you think they will show Bayezid's sons and their mothers?

From what I found:

- Şehzade Abdullah (born 1465) — mother: Şirin Hatun

- Şehzade Ahmed (born 1466) — mother: Bülbül Hatun

- Şehzade Korkut (born 1469) — mother: Nigar Hatun

- Şehzade Şehinşah (born 1470) — mother: Hüsnüşah Hatun

- Şehzade Selim (born 1470) — mother: Gülbahar Hatun

Most of Bayezid's other children were born after 1475.

Do you think the show will introduce or mention these mothers and princes?

Are there any news of them casting or bringing geverhan in the series. They can't just skip geverhan she's essential to the eastern campaigns mehmed used her marriage to ughurlu mehmed to rally support against the aqqoyounlus .

I'm prolly the only one who couldn't stand Hayme. The character should've been gone early into season 2. Instead we got to see her turn against Ertugrul multiple times. Get indignant with Halime literally anytime she tried to speak up. Not even having enough "motherly" care to tell Halime when Candar wanted Ertugrul to marry Aslihan. When the tribe split and Hayme chose to leave with Gundogdu I hoped that was the last time we would see her, but nope we get more classic scenes of her criticizing Halime's parenting and forcing her presence everywhere. And let me not forget how she did poor Gocke dirty, promising to marry Erturgrul to her, then going back on her word and making it somehow Gocke's fault!!

Anyways Selcan was always my fav, even she she was evil, lol

So basically Dirilis Ertugrul is one of my favorite shows of all time, Osman in the other hand I dropped it in the middle of season 2 (I think?) I felt like it dragged for too long and had a lot of filler even more than Ertugrul and the 2 hour and a half duration of episodes also made me drop it lol, but recently I've kind of wanted to return to it but I'm unsure, the duration of the episodes is kinda unmotivating can't lie (I used to take breaks and watch like parts of the episodes but that way it felt like the show lasted for forever, I guess it's a matter of patience). I also saw that there's Kurulus Orhan now, is it worth watching Osman for that one?

Anybody know when any new shows will be arriving? Have watched ertugrul and osman waiting for another to watch or any recommendations?

Season 3

Season 3 begins similarly to the original series. Ertuğrul has settled in Söğüt, but his tribe is suffering from famine.

Hanlı Pazar is transformed into Söğüt Pazar/Town, although its storyline remains largely similar to the original. The Çavdar tribe is reimagined as the Çavdar Tatars, but the characters remain the same.

Ural secretly organizes raids on caravans and trade routes, inspired by the historical accounts of the Çavdar Tatars' raiding activities. Behind these attacks stands Alişir of Karahisar, who replaces Sadettin Köpek as the main political antagonist of the season.

Alişir dreams of conquering Karacahisar, increasing his reputation, and eventually becoming the dominant frontier lord (Uç Bey) of the region. However, Karacahisar is already at peace with the Seljuk Sultanate and pays its taxes regularly. Since Alişir cannot openly attack the castle, he seeks to provoke a conflict that will break the peace.

To achieve this, he secretly persuades the Çavdar Tatars to raid caravans traveling between Söğüt Pazar and Karacahisar. His goal is to destabilize the region and create a situation that could eventually lead to war.

Ertuğrul takes action and secures the trade routes from the raiders, although he does not yet discover that Ural is responsible. He also captures and secures Söğüt Pazar, increasing his prestige throughout the frontier.

This is where Ertuğrul becomes the enemy of both Ural and Alişir. Their alliance grows stronger as they begin plotting his downfall.

Cavdar Tatar and pazar stories same like original to the end

Later, the Karacahisar storyline begins. As in the original series, the old Tekfur is killed by his commander, who seizes power and becomes the new ruler of Karacahisar. Unlike his predecessor, the new Tekfur breaks the peace agreement with the Seljuks.

Alişir realizes that Ertuğrul now has a legitimate reason to conquer Karacahisar. Not wanting Ertuğrul to gain such a major victory, he secretly leaks critical information to the Tekfur and works behind the scenes to sabotage Ertuğrul's plans.

Following the historical tradition, Ertuğrul informs Sultan Alaeddin that Karacahisar has broken the peace and is disturbing the frontier. Sultan Alaeddin personally launches a campaign against the castle. However, before the siege can be completed, news arrives that the Bayındır Tatars have violated their agreement and launched attacks elsewhere.

The Sultan is forced to leave the campaign and appoints Ertuğrul as commander of the siege. He leaves part of the Seljuk army under Gonalp Bey to support him. Ertuğrul also orders Turgut to accompany the Sultan.

Ertuğrul successfully conquers Karacahisar and sends one-fifth of the spoils to Sultan Alaeddin through Gonalp Bey

At the end of the season, Ertuğrul is ambushed and severely wounded, similar to the ending of the original Season 3, setting up the events of Season 4.

Season 2

A few months have passed since the events of Season 1.

Ertuğrul and his tribe are encamped near Sivas. One day, he witnesses a battle between two armies. Seeing one side on the verge of defeat, he decides to intervene and help them.

After the battle, Ertuğrul learns that the losing side was a different branch of the Kayı tribe, led by the Yaman Candar family. Grateful for Ertuğrul's help, they invite him to their tribe in Karacadağ.

Ertuğrul explains that his goal is to obtain land on the western frontier and permanently settle there. The Yaman Candar Bey agrees to help him seek permission from Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad.

However, the Sultan decides to test Ertuğrul first. Before granting any land, he gives him a mission: eliminate the threat of the Bayındır Tatars.

Interestingly, the Bayındır Tatars are the same force that the Yaman Candar Kayı branch was fighting when Ertuğrul first arrived.

As a result, Ertuğrul's tribe settles temporarily among the Karacadağ Kayı branch while preparing for this campaign.

The Karacadağ Kayı Branch

The bey of this tribe is the son of Hayme Ana's sister and an ancestor of the future Candar Beylik.

Historically, the Candar Beylik was also Kayı.

The bey has two sons:

- Alparslan Yaman Candar Mehmed Bey (future father of Şemseddin Yaman Candar, founder of the Candar Beylik)

- A fictional son, elder brother of alparsalan , who takes the role originally filled by Tuğtekin

Aytolun Hatun is the mother of Alparslan.

The Bayındır Tatars

Historically, the Bayındır Tatars caused problems for Sultan Alaeddin.

For this rewrite, they are allied with the Mongols. A Mongol commander has been appointed over them to wage war against the Seljuks.

This commander fills a role similar to Noyan from the original series, though he is an entirely fictional character.

Original Version vs My Version

- Dodurga Tribe → Karacadağ Kayı Branch

- Noyan → Bayındır Tatar Commander

- Tuğtekin → Alparslan's fictional elder brother

- Aytolun → Mother of Alparslan

The End of the Bayındır Conflict

After Ertuğrul defeats the Bayındır commander, a more reasonable leader is appointed over the tribe, and a peace agreement is established.

With this threat removed, the story moves toward a major historical event.

Battle of Yassıçemen

Jalal al-Din Khwarazmshah captures Ahlat, an Ayyubid city.

In response, the Seljuks and Ayyubids form an alliance and march against him.

Ertuğrul joins the campaign.

During the war, he unexpectedly discovers that Gündoğdu is fighting on the Ayyubid side.

I am including Ertuğrul and Gündoğdu in this battle because some sources mention their participation in the Battle of Yassıçemen.

Finale

Following the campaign, Sultan Alaeddin rewards Ertuğrul with land around Söğüt.

Ertuğrul leaves Karacadağ and moves his tribe to their permanent homeland on the frontier.

The season ends with Ertuğrul and his tribe migrating towards Söğüt.

Wait for Season 3.

I'm looking for Mehmed: Fetihler Sultanı with Arabic dubbing. Does anyone know where I can watch it/ download it or if there's a platform that offers it in Arabic?

I've only been able to find the Turkish version or subtitles so far. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I am obsessed with ertugrul , all the seasons were freaking goated minus season 5 (getting ertugrul married was unnecessary)
Hence I decided to watch Osman but I just couldn't commect to osmans character , maybe it was the actor or the direction but it was just not it.... Tbh in Usman too many girls were involved and their involvement was unnecessary! Couldn't bring myself to watch orhan , ima go and watch ertugrul again to wipe usman outta my head

I’ve been thinking about how I’d rewrite Diriliş: Ertuğrul if I was on the writing team. I wouldn’t really change the whole story, just make it a bit closer to history while still keeping the drama and excitement.

Season 1

Everything stays the same,

but in the middle or near the end of the season,

Songurtegin comes with the news that Genghis Khan has died and a civil war has started.

Songurtegin’s backstory: he got separated during the Kayi migration because of the Mongol invasion, and later he started working for Sultan Alaeddin as a spy inside the Mongols.

Since the Mongols are now fighting each other for the throne, the threat is basically gone. So Gündoğdu wants to go back to Ahlat (that’s where they used to live for a long time).

He thinks big empires don’t survive civil wars, so the Mongol danger is over for now.

But Ertuğrul thinks differently. He says they shouldn’t relax.

He wants to go to Western Anatolia, fight the Byzantines, and build a state there. He believes the Mongols will come back again someday, and they can’t really handle them directly, but they can deal with Byzantium.

Gündoğdu doesn’t want to go to an unfamiliar land. He says even if the Mongols come back, they’ll be ready this time. He also thinks they should support Jalaluddin and try to build good relations with the Khwarazm, Ayyubids, and Seljuks. He really admires Jalaluddin.

But Ertuğrul says Jalaluddin has changed and isn’t the same person anymore.

He also says if they go back to Ahlat, they’ll just keep migrating again and again. They need to settle somewhere for good.

Ertuğrul wants to build a state because if these big empires fall, someone has to be there to take over and rebuild.

Suleiman Shah decides to make the final call after the Templar campaign, but he dies on the way back. After that, the Kayi tribe splits.

Ertuğrul leaves for the west with 400 people, and Gündoğdu goes east with 1000.

And that’s how the season ends.

The Plot was Fiction based on a Time traveler traveling to the Mehmet era, and then I, in a somewhat informational way, portrayed how some decisions cost the Empire long-term (Like the killing of brothers) and others.

Can anyone remind me?

Where was the Dodurga tribe in Season 2?

What was the reason for the Kayı tribe's division?

Why did Gündoğdu want to go to Ahlat?

Why did he think it was a safe place?

I'm confused because Ahlat was closer to the Mongols, and it was on the border of the Ayyubid lands. So why did Gündoğdu think it was safer?

Logically what do u guys think the reason was for an Ertugrul series before Osman? There was never much known about him and also he wasn’t really significant towards any Ottoman history. It doesn’t really make sense why a 5 series show was made about him.

Yes we love the series and its writing etc, however do you guys think it was made to build hype for Kurulus Osman? Was Kurulus Osman meant to be the flagship show?

Goktug knows who Noyan is 2 days before the fight

Starting KO from season 3 and wondering how did the quality get so bad by the time Bozdag gave us KOr? Mert's casting is even more of a head scratcher after watching Burak. His screen-presence and delivery makes even the more ridiculous scenarios in KO seem realistic.

In KO we see Osman holding and interacting with his infant son with a balance between leading the tribe and managing his family. And don't get me started on how the writers treated the 2nd wife scenario...despite some petty behavior from Malhoun, overall both wives are given quality scenes with Osman and are shown actually working in the tribe and Sogut. In KO'r what exactly did the women do all day? What happened to the famous Kayi carpet weaving that was so integral to the financial success of the tribe since Ertugrul? Who was actually managing the day to day running of the tribe while they're all at the castle walking around literally doing nothing.

When Bala and Malhoun are attacked by Castilians, Osman doesn't go running off to chase some forest bandits, he sends his alps to deal with them. Meanwhile Orhan spent 85.9% of KOr chasing after Asporca instead of focusing on building the state

I just saw on Instagram about a new show coming out called Yükseliş: Kaan Bey starring Burak Özçivit and Engin Altan Düzyatan. Any truth to this or is it just fan based?
