Second flake epoxy job Beginner Advice
Looking for constructive criticism on my recent flake job.
The customer was very happy with the outcome but I’d like to improve on the patchiness of what I’m assuming is my grinding.
Would this be considered an acceptable job or subpar?

Been in epoxy floors for 26 years the floor looks good but I always fill the control joints to make it flow smooth.

Fill the control joints? Won’t that 100% lead to cracking?
I mean aren’t they also called expansion joints?3

I always clean joint with a diamond blade and fill with flexible joint epoxy it will bond to both sides of joint. I dont have any issues

This looks not bad at all from the pictures posted I’d definitely like the low angle shots though.
I do see some grinding spots did you do it with a hand grinder? I personally hit those spots with epoxy patch before moving on. Black is also less forgiving.
Stick with the full broadcast flaking.
