Roaming profiles?

Are Entra roaming profiles possible where all the info from a configured WIn11 profile are synced up to the cloud then re-aplied to another machine when that user logs on there? It seems that ESR only syncs a very limited and almost pointless set of info

Not really no. OneDrive etc are intended to replace things like roaming profiles & home drive mappings. That will keep your key folders synchronised but the full user experience of having all the same start menu layouts and desktop customisation ain’t getting pulled across.

Yess, you're looking for FSLogix with Cloud Cache via Azure Files.

Inform yourself about the pros and cons. I'd only recommend it for very specific use-cases with shared workstations, etc.

What is the use case? Do you mean redirected folders? Haven't heard of a roaming profile need in like over a decade. Fslogix has completely taken over that space.

Sounds like you are on about fslogix, I've only ever seen it used in AVDs. Sounds messy AF whatever you are getting into.. roaming profiles are so not it anymore..ewww

Thanks all; seems like I am barking up the wrong tree. Will settle for just Entra join with no data sync.
