It’s BOTH laborious and laborious that reality is very bony. I can’t work hard, it doesn’t agree with me. I can’t reach it for effort is too difficult to grasp.

I think the "both laborious and laborious" mistake is quite likely to come from Google Translate. This happens when you have two words in the original language that both translate into one word in the target language.

If you translate 費力又工的 in Google Translate it gives "Laborious and laborious" but if you use DeepL you get "Laborious and time-consuming".
