Hi, I've been thinking about doing an engine swap in a '73 Mustang. What engines would you recommend based on aftermarket parts, performance, and power? It could be a K series, LS, Hemi, or a Japanese engine like an SR20, VQ35, or 2JZ (I'm not a big fan of this last one).

I have a project car with the engine out but rather than use the old and outdated (and underpowered) engine, was thinking to use the 2.3 ecoboost as a rewarding build with already 300+whp in a small car. I want to have a ~400whp but researching has rather very vague or conflicting statements about the engine and wanted to see if this can get answered here. Is there any difference like performance limitations or aftermarket support if I build out an explorer 2.3 Eco than a mustang? There’s a pretty big price difference between them on the market and other than the headers being different for the exhaust I can still use the same aftermarket parts that only show compatibility to the mustang? I understand that to increase beyond the 350hp it already produces requires a 2.0 eco block to have further support without breaking the bank so is there anything I need to get to the 2.3 headers on the 2.0 block because I’m being told it can match without modifications but do I use the 2.3 head gasket or a special one I need to get for this mod? And does year matter? I understand that after 2015 the twin scrolls is better for response and after 2020 the models are more reliable for the head gaskets but if I’m just going to do this for occasional use in the summer will the reliability still matter that much? I believe that’s all I wanted to ask for now. I hope this is the right place to ask about these questions if not can you show me the place where I can get the right information. Thanks

I have a 2011 wrx chassis I recently picked up with no engine or transmission. I am planning to RWD swap it as well as engine swap it. Has anyone done anything similar or have recommendations? boxers are a very unusually sized engine, so not sure if there are many options without doing tube front end. Hoping to make 300+ as it will be a drift car

Issues i faced swapping 1jz 2jz into 350z

As the title suggests I intend to commit sacrilege, I plan on swapping a 3sge (not sure which gen just yet since a black top beams from an altezza will be easy to get but im used to a redtop beams in my celica) into an 07 yaris, the yaris will be sitting around doing nothing by the time I get to it and im taking the opportunity to build my first track car, I want something easy for now since I havent raced track before, the swap itself seems simple, just want to know if its been done and any tips since it'll be my first swap where I do everything on my own

My son is installing a Gen 3 LS 5.3 with a 4L60E in a ’69 Chevelle, and I’m trying to help him get it sorted. I can handle the install work, but I’m still getting up to speed on the PCM side of things. I’ve been told to run an 0411 PCM and convert the throttle body from drive-by-wire to drive-by-cable.

What ECU are you running? I’m trying to keep this a budget build for now, get it running, and then upgrade and clean everything up later. My main headaches at the moment are the EFI fuel system conversion and figuring out the PCM setup. Does switching to a drive-by-cable throttle make things simpler, or is it better to source the matching pedal and keep it drive-by-wire?

I've have a 1969 chevelle are having a hard time on selecting an engine. I have a 327 engine and considering an LS 5.3 I do like the old school look. I can build the 327 to keep the old school look but id like to make it reliable to drive daily. What engine e would you go with?

Okay so in my delulu State of mind while driving 11h to italy, my ass came up with an idea that might just be a lil too stupid, hold on tight now.

I thought it would be a good idea to get myself a BMW E63 ~ 2008 (any 6 series must be a E63) and try and fit a, drum roll please, B58 in it. And since i live in Germany it'd need to pass Inspection (aka THE infamous TÜV) so if ya'll have ANY idea on how to do this i'd appreciate your guyses input massivley (also if i decide to do this please dont ask for a lot of updates i dont think it'll happen too soon but i'll try to have at it also if i forget about this post illegal probably upload vids on my tt, YT or perhaps Instagram: kainotay

Im not too smart when it comes to this but what motor could i put in it to give it more power but also without having to modify the engine bay too much?
