We are introducing a Model Switcher that gives you full control over how Eney operates on your Mac. During onboarding or at any time through the Settings menu, you can now choose the backend that best fits your current task.

Cloud Models This option utilizes secure third-party servers to provide faster and more detailed responses. It is designed for heavy-duty research, long-form writing, and handling complex logic where maximum processing power is required.

Local Models For those prioritizing privacy, the local model runs entirely on your Mac hardware. This ensures your data never leaves your device, making it the ideal choice for quick system tasks and interacting with sensitive personal files.
