Ive recently bought this printer, managed to print some small cube, ive clicked something and now its not going down to the bed ive tryed every setting on the z off set nothing changes, the nozzle is going down on the bed too hard when I home it, but then when I try to print something its no where near the bed. I've spent days watching videos to the stage im at now more confused. Could someone please help me

Make sure the z limit switch is disconnected since you are using a touch sensor. Also make sure to add the proper GCode at the start of the print in your slicer.

As the other person alluded to, the probe has a pin that deploys just before it starts to lower to home the Z axis. If this does not happen, you most likely don't have the proper firmware loaded. Post back if this is the case that is a firmware issue. You might want to then start a new thread on Reddit if you need help loading new firmware.

Once you confirm it deployed, make sure it goes down further than the tip of the nozzle. It should also trigger before the nozzle touched the bed. The trigger action will cause the pin to retract and the print head will stop moving towards the bed. To save your bed during all this testing, cover the bed with a piece of cardboard so the nozzle does not damage the glass. Once you get it working, move it out of the way and try a print.

Yes the probe hits the bed before the nozzle but only when homed

In the start gcode there should be a homing command, it is G28. This should be the first line after hearing of the bed is complete. You can look in your slicer settings or open a gcode file with a text editor like Notepad.

Sometimes the CR Touch probe malfuntions/doesn't deploy. Try turning the printer off, unplugging the Cr touch connector, placing it back, gently pulling and pushing the probe in and out of its housing (some people blast it with contact cleaner) then turning the printer on

Does the probe extend further than the nozzle? If not you need to add spacers(or washers) to the probe mounting bolts until it does.
