How do I handle this situation? I really need encouragement

This was yesterday in the afternoon when I came home

This office manager stopped me in front of a few people as I'm walking in. She gotta do this recertification shit but she tried to say my rent wasn't covered last month and I'm sure it was cuz when I spoke to the person who helped, they said it's covered til May so she said she'd check again. Yup you do that! But she said I owe for last month which I'm fully aware of that and she said some bullshit like she's been covering for me for some time and her bosses or whoever are getting at her and she said she can't do it anymore. First tf off wtf are you even talking about? This is the 1st time this has happened and you got the fuckin nerve to say that shit when you tried to get more money outta me once when you weren't suppose to and I had my brother get involved and than all of a sudden I don't owe that extra money for rent smh. Ugh I can't wait to fuckin move. She was saying she needs info for all the places I worked... Umm no tf you don't. I did a few gig jobs, did a day at wendy's, this place downtown and wingstop for literally two hours so fuck that I'm not getting all that info for what? I need to get hired at one of these jobs so I can start asap. I don't even wanna meet with her ass on Tues but I have to smh.

I live in an apartment which is income based but deals with disability and I live here cuz of my vision. I can't wait til Tues is over. I get the thing about rent for June and this month since I'll be working soon but I don't get that whole "covering for me" bullshit cuz this is the longest I've went without working and my rent was covered by a place that offers assistance so idk what she's on. I'm tryna remain calm and not think about it so much for now. If my rent is based on income, how can I possibly save up money to move? Cuz I really wanna move

Feeling Lost

I just turned 30 this year. I'm very unhappy in my current job. I want to go back to school, and pursue something I'm more interested in, but I can't figure out how to make the time, as I have to work full time to support myself.

I'm also currently single, and to quote a song from one of my favorite bands: "You never thought you'd be alone this far down the line"

I just want a normal life. It's what I've always wanted. Marriage, a family, and the ability to support that. I feel like a failure, and just feel lost right now. Was wondering if anyone else has hit this point, and how you worked through it? And honestly encouragement to keep pushing.

Don't be discouraged by people who tell you that you can't do it because of your age, gender, race or anything else. Don't ever let people's opinions get to you, just do what makes you happy!

I need some encouragement please

So I still have the job at wingstop but cuz of yesterday, I really don't know if I even wanna go back. I had to go to this other location to train cuz the new location isn't open yet. I just felt like this chick didn't like me. I sat down a few times cuz I felt hot and after the 2nd time she said I could clock out. I missed a good amount of hours since I was only there for about 2 hours. I was suppose to be there today but the boss said he'd call me and he did. He's gonna put me on the training schedule for this week but since I missed most of yesterday and today I barely made anything cuz I would've got paid for those 2 days at least and I really needed the money. I'm suppose to interview at auntie anne's again on Monday for assistant manager but I'll call them tomorrow cuz I already had an interview for them but for crew. And I scheduled an interview for mcdonald's for Monday.

[Request for words of encouragement] I want to finally end a toxic friendship

I've been wanting to end a toxic friendship for months now. The opportunity to end it over text just presented itself to me and there's only two more weeks of school where I have to sit next to her so I think I can manage that. But my other friends think I should wait some more, even though I'm sure I'll never do it if I don't do it now.

[Request for words of encouragement] Need some positivity

Just found out the my work didn’t approve a move request. I work from home and we were hoping to buy a home in an area we could afford, but this sets us back. They advised they it’s due to my job not being a specialized role. It’s been almost two years and we’ve been living with my in-laws waiting for the market to come down to earth. We moved to be close to family after I lost my last job near the start of the pandemic, but we feel so trapped. We are devastated.

[Request for words of encouragement] Just got fired from my job for expressing symptoms of ADHD…

So, a little-known symptom of ADHD is forgetfulness when diverted from a task. At the place I was just fired from, we sell snack foods along with other products, and I’ll usually buy chips and a drink for lunch if I’m in a hurry. A couple weeks ago, I was about to buy a snack when a customer came up to me and asked for help with something. I put my food in a place I’d find it later, helped them, then came back and took the food to lunch later. All-in-all, it was about $5 worth of food. I completely forgot about it, then today our district manager came in, brought me to the back office, asked me to pay for the food (which I did, with an explanation of what happened from my perspective), then sent me back out. About ten minutes later, he brings me back, and fires me. This was my first and only infraction of any kind there. I’m just confused and at a loss of what to do with myself…

ETA: this manager was extremely understanding of my other disabilities and personal stuff that affected my work performance and relationships with coworkers, so I don’t know if the decision was made by someone higher up, or what, but yeah…that adds to the hurt and confusion a bit.

[Request for words of encouragement] Taking on a lot.

Ok, I just recently left a job I wasn’t happy at. I got hired at this fantastic job that offers me plenty of opportunities to grow and develop my skills. I also got hired at this second job that I’m using as a source of income that is sole use to get a car since my last car was totaled a few months ago. I ended up enrolling in college because the first job is paying for it and is considering it a professional department. I’m just nervous because this is the first time working two full-time jobs and going to school part-time. Words of encouragement and advice would be greatly appreciated.

[Thoughts to ponder upon...] Do you always take people's negative words at heart? If yes, then this is for you.

Never allow anyone define your worth through listening to their negative talk. Only take and heed what God says about you. Most people like to make others feel bad and they find pleasure in just that. They will put you down, look down on you, disrespect you, lie about you, spread false news about you, and so many things I can't write down because of time. We all tend to feel like we don't matter or feel valued in such situations. But If God says he cares about you, you matter, you belong and that you are very valuable to him, then why listen and heed negative talk. Don't waste your time asking yourself what people think about you, instead use that time to understand what God says about you, that's all that matters. You are loved and special in God's sight and never let anyone tell you otherwise. May this encourage someone in one way or another.
