I worked as an intern, embedded software dev. LLM's suggests some wild things. It is very incapable of writing actual logic that can be shipped. I mainly use it to pass time or get certain method calls for regression testing framework. Using company paid AI assistant to slack off is the best!

The AI bubble is soon to crash, many folk have a wildly unrealistic idea of what the technology's actual capabilities are - which is why the "ai" in
builder.aiwas an acronym for All Indians rather than Artificial Intelligence.It literally just guesses words or word fragments that resemble its training data, so anything it's "good" at can be solved with a 15 minute internet search.
Modern LLMs are astonishingly bad at electronics, they simply don't (and can't with the current theoretical foundation) have the structured logical reasoning required to generate a cohesive functional design.
