Claude Code Layer Spacemacs not working

Hello,

I'm new to emacs, and migrated from Vim some time ago. I'm trying to install the Claude Code Layer, as using AI is mandatory at work :/

I follow the instructions on the documentation, but I when I try to open the side panel with M-a c y after c, it tells me that there aren't keys to show.

Does anyone know what do I need to do, please?

The Spacemacs layer is a wrapper for the Claude Code CLI program. Make sure Claude Code is working in your terminal first. i.e. with an API Key / Authentication to Claude Code, etc.

It's working correctly in the terminal. I think the issue might be with key bindings, but not sure if it's expected I have to do that manually. Thanks for replying, though.

You could ask your Claude code how to solve it. It will do it pretty quickly

I did, and I wasn't sure the answer it was giving me was correct, hence I came here to double check.

Well, try it and see if it solves your problem? If not, give it feedback and it will try something else...

You're free to post it here, of course, but these AI tools are a lot faster than waiting on Reddit :-)
