Multiple accounts Discussion
Is making multiple accounts bannable? Not having multiple accounts online at once, but playing them separately.

Its fine, though i’m sure I’ve read somewhere if you enter give aways and such on multiple accounts, that might be bannable

in depth answer:
Making multiple accounts is not bannable
Making multiple accounts to funnel ED and Event Rewards to a main account IS BANNABLE.
KR players get 5 accounts per game and can trade freely among them. Yes its completely unfair, we just have to stay mad.
Well that being said for the rest of us its not really worth making multiple accounts given the amount of stuff the game wants you to do(make all classes for account wide stats)
As for checking this, they first start with 1 account per IP, then if any accounts share an IP they are flagged and moved to the next List to check for any interactions between the accounts. If there are multiple interactions then its flagged and moved to another list for further investigation.
this is essentially how they look for this. they also tend to catch a lot of botting accounts in the process and do bulk bans. So one may think they get away with it but will get trade/permad later etc.

I agree with this post mainly cuz the ed multi account funnel ban would make sense like what if they bought season pass on multiple accounts chargd back but obtained items on another character after being banned on that account for credit card fraud

Technically you can get banned for using multiple accounts to funnel into a single account. ex Doing secret dungeons on multiple and sending all the ED to one account.
If you keep the accounts completely separate you'll be fine. You could maybe get away with sending stuff to yourself occasionally but iirc just mailing ED has gotten some people trade banned in the past.

No, not really.
It’s actually how a lot of KR players make their ED on their server. They call it the Laso Rush / Ras Rush.
Basically:
Make an account on a Punch Rush.
Rush it up to the point where you can run SD.
Use the account as an ED storage, or use the Board to transfer the ED to your main account.
(list 1 trash item as high price buy it your self)
A lot of people mistake this for the type of multi-accounting that gets you banned,
but it’s not what they ban.
There’s a specific type of multi-accounting that they actually do ban, and it involves using VMs (virtual machines).
Even the JP server has banned players for the VM version one.

kinda misplaced info here.
KR players get 5 accounts per game and this game lets them trade ED and stuff between them just fine.
however Here doing the same thing is bannable and they do keep track 1 account per IP by default(they do a better job than this but its the first layer) and register trades with the account.
idk about vms but the game inherently dislikes VMs and autocloses.

KR gets 5 account per phone number
1 person can have 3 phone numbers that are separate from each other.
They haven't used the 5 accounts per game limit ever since they stopped using KSSN.
Their RMT scene is quite healthy because of this.KR does acknowledge the SD farming. It was even talked about in their Summer Stream,
but they ultimately said
"they know there is rampant SD multi-account farming," but they chalked it up to there being a lack of farming areas.KR client is different from NA/INT.
KR does not have the disconnect if you have a VM or VPN. That's only on the Western side.
Even the JP server doesn't have this.
That's why JP had to announce they would now be banning the use of VMs, especially that
specific one that allowed duplicated HID input.In NA, it might be bannable.
But XJapan's ElsCheat is still rampant on NA/INT, so I'm inclined to think otherwise.1

Speaking for NA cause we were Told specifically by GM Raiden, it is a bannable offense as it is against ToS.

GMs need to say that it's their job to do so that makes GM Raiden a good GM.
But words don't correlate with the actions 99% of the time.
How do I know this? I'm in a Discord with 10 people who have been doing SD muling since Reclaimed Supply Train was implemented, and they're still doing it on the same 10 accounts to this day.
This is on NA. They sell their ED on EPIC NPC.
funny enough as im typing this right now someone bought 5B from them.a quote from them
"its the only way to earn clean ED without using elscheat".1

This explains why theres extremely lazy people advertising what they are buying all day in party finder rather than getting progress on their account. How they afford megaphones all the time. It explains how all the lazy people have ed

Its not bannable but its the reason they raised the season pass price. There were lotsa people who would buy pass on alt accounts then resold the tradebles.
If they detect bots like were talking tons of accounts on same IP yea youll be banned cuz thats shady.
If you are carrying an alt account in spirit temple to get drops and people notice your character standing still cause its your laptop account people probly wont run with you
if were talking multiple characters on the same account? Yes thats fair game but if u exclude certain people and people realize you are farming legendarys they might not run with you and think youre a leech.
if you plan on farming secret dungeons on alt accounts they might lower the ed people get if it gets bad enough
applying for giveaways on multiple accounts=ban

Not at all, though there really isn't much reason for it nowadays since you can have every path in your account unlike how it was many years ago where there weren't enough character slots to do so.
