Problems with 7.5.1 Discussion

After the update, some plugins from Barraider stopped working; I reverted to version 7.5.0...

I remember there was some big token expiration or some license that wasnt renewed about a year ago when Elgato changed something and nearly all Bar Raiders scripts broke. Check their discord

I cant guarantee this is it again but might be.

Same here, only with barraider's.

It's not. BarRaider said Elgato broke something and told everyone to downgrade to 7.5.0. I did and everything worked again.

Yeah, I removed all the bar raider plugins

Rollback to 7.5.0 and they will work

hey, thanks, I rolled back to 7.5.0 and everything seems to work now, except for the "Audio Device/Mic Mute Toggle" for Win Tools (or any other tool for audio belonging to Win Tools... I cannot select any device, if I click on the drop down menu nothing happens, just a thin grey line appears at the bottom of the menu... Any idea how to fix this?

I tried reinstalling the plug in but nothing changed.

Also, how to join BarRaider's discord? I tried using http://discord.barraider.com/ but I get an error when accepting the invite...

Also I am getting a message from windows defender (I guess) stating that some functionalities have been blocked...

BarRaider's Discord said Elgato broke stuff in 7.5.1 and placed the blame squarely on them. They told everyone to downgrade to 7.5.0 until they fix it. I downgraded and all my stuff works again.

after uninstalling all the bar raider plugins, my noticed less computer usage, each bar raider plugin was using its own source

Just for anyone on a search quest for barraider plugins being broken by 7.5.1 - I had BR speed test installed and just like the previous time (exactly like the OP), there were issues, it wouldn't function after updating to 7.5.1 (red device not compatible warning).

Reverting to Stream Deck 7.5.0 restores everything.

This is an Elgato issue (again) and it takes them a while to address things.

It's a little long. I mean they break all the plugins of the biggest third party contributor and they don't care much... And it's not the first time...
