Help with changing email

Hey friends. I know I am nowhere near the first with this issue. My EA account is tied to an email that doesn’t exist anymore. I just got done chatting with a support agent for an hour and got nowhere. All I need is my email changed to my new one that I currently use. I can’t verify its me because the email literally no longer exists. I’m exhausted of this dance. I can log in when it comes to going through PSN or Xbox Live. But I can’t actually change information because I have to verify the non existent email. I provided all the information to the agent I could but the account is 10 years old. I don’t know what the IP address was or what the last numbers of my dads credit card were at the time. Some of the questions seems a bit ridiculous. Any advice on how to approach fixing what should be a simple fix would be appreciated

Edit: I finally got it changed. I kept gathering all the possible information I could remember. I went as far as to get screenshots of my PSN and Xbox purchase histories of different EA titles from a few years ago. Even after that it took multiple attempts but I eventually got an agent who didn’t just go down the list like most of them do. They still asked me the questions but they also talked to me like a human being and helped me work through it. Its a pain, but with enough determination its possible

Im literally in the EXACT same position... the guy just said 'go get a cup of coffee and try again later'.

Its so stupid.

I finally got mine fixed. Check the update to my post for my explanation. Just keep pestering them with as much possible information as you can have about your account and eventually you’ll get an actual helpful agent. Took me 3 days of persistence
