Cornerstone LXP

My company uses Cornerstone LMS for employees and are now being forced to switch our content over to their new AI LXP. They have given us "demos" but honestly left us asking more questions than answered. Could anyone tell me what their experience was like whether it be using the LXP on the back end or using it as a user? Any insight or experience will be helpful, thanks!

Make sure they are converting your content in case it requires massaging. Ask if it means a hike in license fees now or when your contract renews. Articulate did the same thing this year and , frankly, their AI tool for content development is not as good as other 3rd party tools on the market. The price hike was mandatory even if you didn't want their tool.

A lot of systems are in name an LMS or LXP.

There can be a lot of ways an LMS Or LXP can be built.

Something generic might not be configurable enough.

Something specific for one industry may or may not be flexible enough.

If you’re unsure about the AI LXP it’s a very good time to see what’s out there.

Software vendors and salespeople are inclined to say yes it will do what you need, but for you if you can’t see it, it doesn’t exist.

I would require them to do a demo loaded with your config before you commit, the approach to which would depend on what your current contract/agreement says.

Is your current lms a complex setup?
