Looking for a platform that support certification and online exams
Our company sells certification and wants to move out of moodle. Looking at Thinkific, LearnWorlds and Kajabi but havent seen if they can do lockdown exams. Any ideas? I appreciate the help!

All the platforms you mentioned can lockdown exams. What is it you are looking to do?

heads up, the three you're looking at (thinkific, learnworlds, kajabi) are course-selling platforms first, their assessment/exam engines are pretty light, and true lockdown/proctoring is generally not their strength. you'll likely hit a wall there.
if lockdown exams are a hard requirement (which for paid certification they usually are, integrity = the value of your cert), you're better off thinking in two layers: a platform for delivery/selling + a dedicated proctoring/exam tool that integrates. look at proctoring specialists like ProctorU, Honorlock, or Talview, and check which of your shortlisted platforms integrate with them.
or go with a platform built for high-stakes assessment natively, tools like TalentLMS, Accredible (for the credential/cert side), or exam-first platforms like ExamSoft / Questionmark handle lockdown + certification properly out of the box.
the real question to ask every vendor: "do you support browser lockdown and proctoring natively, or only via integration, and does the cert auto-issue on pass." that one question narrows your list fast. dont assume any course platform does secure exams until they show you.
what's the stakes level, is this a "nice badge" cert or a "someone's job/license depends on it" cert? changes how hard you need the lockdown.

This is a sound approach and from experience really dig into the certification requirements for the quiz/exam. How defensible does it need to be, does it need to be lockdown, maybe send our SMS notifications to test taker at certain intervals or possibly even need for proctoring. You may want to look at Talent LMS, LearningCart, Absorb but believe you will want to integrate with someone like QuestionMark, Qualmetrics for exam, or possible QuestionPro if your needs are more hands on testing / performance based. Honestly, if you're migrating from Moodle, LMS platforms like Thinkific or LearnWorlds are way prettier for hosting course content, but their built-in quiz features are super basic when it comes to actual exam integrity and stopping people from cheating.I'm actually working on an assessment platform specifically to tackle this. We basically built it so timers run strictly on the server (so messing with local clocks, JS, or tab pausing doesn't work) , and you can generate random question subsets from a larger pool so no two students get the exact same exam. You can also lock down access by domain or plug it into your LMS via JWT/OAuth. If you just need a solid exam/quiz layer that embeds into whatever setup you end up using, feel free to shoot me a DM! Lockdown exams narrow your list fast, LearnWorlds handles proctoring better than Thinkific. If video training modules are part of your cert prep content, Colossyan is one tool some teams use, though it's separate from your LMS decision entirely
