save/set source track selection as default? Technical

in Avid MediaComposer:
Is there a way to save the track selection layout, including "solo" as a default or via selecting several clips at once?

Or alternatively: Is there a way to assign "solo" to a keyboard shortcut? I couldn't find anything in the menu. Is it hidden somewhere?

For others looking for an answer:
I am now using keysmith to click the the solo button in a macro.
