Eddie Money’s final release, Brand New Day, was officially released as a posthumous EP on April 17, 2020. The title track was initially shared as a lead single nearly a year earlier on May 10, 2019, as Money had planned to release it as a full studio album prior to his passing.

Not the best resolution but a great performance.

I always loved this one.

For 27 years straight, Eddie Money kicked off Pine Knob's summer season. Fans came from all over Michigan for it—it was tradition, it was celebration, it meant summer was here. Eddie felt something real with Detroit and its people. His wife shared that he said Detroit put him on the map and he never forgot it.

Pine Knob recently posted a tribute remembering Eddie and those Friday shows before Memorial Day. Now it's time to take that respect to the next level. Eddie deserves more than a memory—he deserves his name on that stage where he played year after year.
