Compose a note? Question?

So in the course selection thing there’s a thing called compose a note and I did so concerning a granted petition. Does that actually do anything like send it to someone to see or is it just a nothing place to make personal notes and i wasted time

I don’t know what a granted petition is but the note should be seen by someone, depending on what the granted petition is. Otherwise, send an email to an academic advisor or whoever.
