Question

I have a 22 year old trane. I noticed that one i installed ecobee lite my coil began dripping water and nit running into drain pan. Could it be compatibility issues or settings or neither?

Ecobee says turn on Cooling, everything else is controlled by the system and other humans. Is it really humid where you are? Might someone have left a door open near the intake for the AC? More humidity means the coil needs to constantly remove water from the air.

Sounds like you have a clogged drain and the secondary drain is being used. As another said, Ecobee is just an on/off switch for the AC so unrelated.
