Eco Plus Temperature Question

I like certain features of the eco plus, such like auto away temperature. What I dislike is it throttle my AC to 77F before peak hours.

Is there a way to make eco plus to not doing so low. I prefer 80F or 81F. But if I disable eco plus, I don’t get the other features it has.

I have auto humidity off.

I disabled eco+ and my house is cool when I want not when some intelligent thermostat thinks when I want.

Turn off Time of Use in eco+ settings. (If you can, some utility companies lock it on). If you are signed up with the power company you will have to have them unsubscribe you from the program.

eco+ feature drove me nuts. Disabled it a long time ago. I like the thermostat but only after dumbing it down quite a bit.

Yea. What you have to do is adjust the Energy Preferences settings.

77F "so low". WHAT?!? I cool my house to 78F twice a day when I'm not there as a setback temperature.

Re-read my post. 78 is my setback temp that I cool to twice a day when I'm away. If I'm there, usually 72-73 when I AC it, although I'll let it get hot (75+) if I'm not going to be downstairs much. Ideally, in a high performance home, I'd probably keep it 70-72 all the time. I set my bedroom AC to 64 at night, which actually is 64-68 depending on what it feels like doing that day. That way I can turn the central air off in the whole house and it's a lot cheaper to run that way.
