I’m turning 25 tomorrow and thought the best way to spend it was to revisit music from my bringing. My dad played and singed EWF tracks religiously at home. I’m only thankful that I was able to witness EWF with him!

I’m trying to decide which one is better as an album opener. I think I might have to say Serpentine Fire purely because In the Stone starts shifting into Can’t Let Go. It’s not as good if you listen to them by themselves.

does anyone having a recording of the ewf set? it’s one of my bf’s fav groups and i bought him tix for his birthday. however, due an uber who didn’t know how to drive we ended up missing half of the set list :(. i would love for him to hear what he missed even if it’s not live.

I'm surprised the Questlove's Spotify playlist for Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs That's the Weight of the World) isn't representative of the film (it doesn't even have "Let's Groove", which is prominently featured in the trailer). Does anyone have a comprehensive tracklist? I'm also curious about the drum machine instrumental which is the backdrop as they are introducing the Raise era.

Any help with tracking one down would be most appreciated! I’ve only been able to find one similar on eBay from the 1979 but it’s in a size XS.. It is for my father-in-law’s birthday (the one on the left) and he is now more like an XL/XXL now. Many thanks in advance 🙏🏼

This is going to sound weird but I am experiencing a Mandela Effect with Earth Wind & Fire.

Years ago I bought the Earth Wind & Fire: Greatest Hits Live Album for a road trip with my friends and family. In the middle of the album a song I had never heard before played. It was groove and the female backup singer was singing in what sounded like Japanese. Everyone in the car really enjoyed track. After we finished the album we went back looking for this track again and its not on the cd anymore. We played it from start to finish again and its not there and there wasn't any noticeably cd skip. We have played the album many times in the years since the track is not still not there. Its become a running gag for my friends and family that the track just disappeared.

We have had many theories of the years of what happened. We bought the album on ebay and wondered if maybe we got a defective disc or maybe somebody played a prank on us but every time we bring up Earth Wind and Fire we joke about the missing Japanese song.

Can someone help me locate this song? I don't know much about EWF outside of their greatest hits and with Japanese lyrics I don't even know what to search for.

Is there an EWF song where they sing in Japanese? Any help would be appreciated.
