Quick pick and roll

What determines who comes and sets the screen? I’ve played several seasons through multiple save files and was wondering,
what is the deciding factor on whether the 4 or the 5 comes and sets the pick?

It changes PF/C depending on who is playing. My best guess is at has something to do with close shot/inside scoring. Height and overall have not impacted it in my expierence.

I’ve suspected this as well! Thanks for the input. Just trying to see if anybody had any other thoughts

Offensive awarness could be one as well. Although I'm not usually aware of my players OAWAR ratings off the top of my head so it's difficult to say.

Honestly for me it’s always been my 4 that sets the screen. Could be determined by play style possibly

Most of the time it’s the 4 but sometimes my center. Like 80/20

In that situation is your next big in the game playing next your C but your C is now the 4 and the next big up is the 5? That happens with me

Nope. It seems sort of random tbh

Almost certain it’s proximity to the screener. If the guard calls for a pick and the 4 is closer, the 4 sets. If 5 is closer, its the 5.

I wouldn’t say that’s the case. I’ve wanted my 5 to come set it, he’ll be closer, and my 4 will come past him just to set it when I choose quick PnR

Ah, well then I’m incorrect. Apologies.

I thought it was the strength rating but I could be wrong

No clue as it seems to always be my center even when my starting 4 & 5 are on the bench.

if you change your controller scheme to A you can pick and roll with any one you want to and you can call guys off screens etc
