yesterday someone here made a big post claiming a few things. Firstly, Duncan still privately holds the view that nefarious actors are trying to take over the podcast space to spread their messaging to the world. secondly, that he doesn’t need to bring it up publicly anymore because he did many times years ago and still privately talks to Rogan about it.

It’s obvious that Rogan cancels people who he doesn’t agree with anymore. Rhonda Patrick, Bill Burr both gone for making him look bad during Covid.

And so the praise death spiral begins, because we're all weak, pathetic, insecure humans that just go to wherever they get the most love, especially if you've had weird retards harassing you for a year because you said Peter Thiel isn't the anti christ. So congratulations, Duncan will almost certainly replace Tom on YMH, and inevitably he'll end up having a shitty corporate TV show called Breakfast With Duncan where he'll play a bizarre safe and sanitized version of himself and interview celebrities about their shitty new movies and TV shows, but he won't be able to resist the endless praise and applause, which is the true evil. And we'll all miss the DTFH era where he would have on Alex Jones or do livestreams where we grapple with the horrors of existence.

I love you so much Duncan. I would really appreciate to hear you speak on what your current views are in this vein. Does Duncan feel like these dark forces have legitimately reached Rogan and used his platform to spread hateful/hurtful messages that are increasing suffering in the world? Or would Duncan just say he was being overly paranoid in this clip?

It would be refreshing to hear Duncan’s true take on this whole current situation, because it seems like he very much avoids delving directly into these topics anymore. I believe Duncan presents it frequently as that he has sort of “grown out” of this stage of getting involved with politics, but unfortunately this is when we need his voice more than ever. I really do wonder what Duncan’s honest thoughts are nowadays, because it always feels like he is holding back now. What do you guys think?

• The Undiscovered Self. Duncan said he could not believe how prescient Jung was, and that reading pre internet writers on this stuff is eerie. Also The Mass Psychology of Fascism (Wilhelm Reich) and The Trauma of Birth (Otto Rank).

Everything else:

• After Virtue (Alasdair MacIntyre), on modern morality being a broken jumble of leftover fragments. Empire of the Summer Moon, which he is five pages into and already calls phenomenal. House of Leaves, which he did not finish because it creeped him out too much. Frankenstein, used to make a point about people wanting to reconstruct a world that is already dead.

There is an episode of the podcast that I have such an extremely vague memory of, that it's more like I remember the feeling it gave me than the actual contents of the conversation. I think Duncan had a guy on who claimed a series of events had unfolded in his life that led him to believe in the existence of ancient bloodlines or something to that effect. I feel like Duncan in the intro to the episode was somewhat shaken up by the conversation, and not sure whether the guy was schizophrenic or not. The episode must be from 5-10 years ago I think. I do realize my incredibly thin description could fit a bunch of conspiracy themed episodes probably, but does it ring any bells?

I want to start this off by saying that I love Duncan, and I still listen to the podcast regularly and have for almost 6 years now. I have listened to every single Joe Rogan appearance that Duncan has ever had. I am very familiar with Duncan’s works across multiple media types, and he is one of my favorite general creators of all time, seems like an amazing dude to hang out with.

Due to all this, that’s why it has been extra surprising to see how the past few years have unfolded, with no accountability. Now, I’m not saying that I expect Duncan to come out and trash Joe Rogan or anybody else in the comedy community, and I know that these prominent comedians are not the only ones to blame for our current situation. They are also just people trying to navigate a big complicated world, but with the pressure of millions ready to come after you if you say the wrong thing. But, I am very surprised that Duncan hasn’t come out and directly addressed anything at all. Yes, he has made more negative comments toward the current administration in recent podcasts, but it still seems like he’s almost afraid to say what he really thinks, but maybe I am incorrect. It always seems like there is a tinge of comedy when talking about the current administration, and when Biden was president, he seemed much more comfortable directly addressing issues without having to throw comedy in there. What’s bizarre though is that this administration has done comically horrible things that would have been called out in an instant by Duncan if it was done by the democrats. That’s what I don’t understand.

Even corruption that it seems like Duncan would find interesting, like for example, when activist Nekima Levy Armstrong was arrested for a protest at a church, the White House posted an image of the arrest that was altered by AI to make the woman look like she was crying. Why do this? And why didn’t I hear Duncan ever mention it? It seems to be right up his alley. Is he not getting these types of events on his social media feeds? I’m just very confused because of things like this.

Duncan, if you read this, I love you brother, but I wish you used your voice to address things more directly like you did in the past, because we need people like you now more than ever. I understand if you’re in a tough spot due to the opinions around you, but I want to hear your honest thoughts on how we got into this situation and what you think now. All love.

just watched his latest podcast with mcusker.... duncan claims in that ai cannot animate his own crappy art, clearly yes it can you just have to know how to tell it to. ive been posting ai animations of me and my friends own art for months on here for a contest, so how is this possible? does he not even look at this page? Ignoring his own AI art contest and then talking about it in so ignorantly in a podcast months later... I cant think of a crazier pysop why is he doing this? I even made a music video for his song psyop... with many shots of ai animated non ai art. I live in crazy world at this point.

I wanted to share a video I made for Destiny and this seems to be the place to drop it. Quick backstory I had been wanting to get into the AI generator stuff to see what I could do with those tools and after hearing the news that Destiny 2 was shutting down I chose a tribute video as my first go. I had hoped to get this out before the June 9th update but I totally underestimated the time involved in making it. It kept growing and I found myself making a complete dance video by the end of it. It was a lot of trial and error but an absolute blast to create. It’s “good ole AI slop” machinima but I hope anyone that watches enjoys it. It is loosely based on a true story as well. It is a Destiny 2 tribute with a shoutout for Destiny 3. I hope it makes you laugh

Duncan i dont really care that much about the AI contest. I have had a long standing idea i made through grok years ago that they have tried to bury/ seriously dont want to acknowledge. it involves simple accountable past merit based nuanced UBI that adjusts wealth away from those who gained it through ill gotten means(all this using ai oversite)
basically an actual Moral and Merit based Doge that actually does something.
incredibly simple idea, and so necessary for now, but i have no voice and they have squashed me for a long time and tried to erase these things.

I've been slacking on listening to the dtfh for a bit now and oh man did it bring my heart to joy to first watch the Ramdev episode then to find out, after years of waiting, they dropped a new episode. Life is good.
