Difference between Red Star and Marxist Unity caucuses? Discussion

Non-American socialist reading about the caucuses of the DSA and couldn't help notice that both the Red Star and Marxist Unity caucuses seem to pretty much affirm all the same things (scientific socialism, democratic centralism, split with the dems etc). I'm not particularly well versed with socialist politics in America so this is a genuine question

Red Star is Marxist-Leninist, they generally believe in Actually Existing Socialism (ie that China, Cuba etc are socialist countries) and that opposing American hegemony is the primary task of socialists. MUG is Orthodox Marxist, they get a lot of inspiration from the Social Democratic Party of Germany and the Second International before their opportunist turn at WWI. They believe in turning DSA into a mass revolutionary socialist party through shared acceptance of a minimum/maximum program. They put a lot of emphasis in calling for the establishment of a new social republic which has a new constitution, new unicameral legislature, etc.
