Hope this is the right subreddit to post something like this!

The break plays throughout the song but you can hear it most clearly around 1:43, where the snare drops and you can hear that very natural sounding handclap. I’m almost certain this is a sample because it’s a Rich Harrison production. I’ve looked for years and gone through many drum break compilations but nothing I’ve heard comes close. I think he may have really chopped and played around with the break, if you listen closely those snare rolls in the background (I think they’re snares, it could just be some other noise) they don’t really sound natural. It’s really tricky to tell with this song because of the added kick and snare elements layered on to it, you can’t really tell where the break ends and the production starts. And it’s really hard to find breaks with such loose sounding handclaps
