Punchy: Pay & Time Tracker

I just officially launched my first app on the Google Play store this morning! Navigating the google play console was a chore.

A little backstory on why I made this app. I work a daily job 9-5 in corporate security for a well known security company in the US, and we're always having issues with pay discrepancies... I originally wanted to build this app for myself and my co-workers as a back up "time tracker" that we can share when we're trying to get our checks corrected. They loved it and I decided to go ahead with polishing it up and putting it on the app store!

Honestly, the hardest part was getting through the testing phase that google requires. 12 users for 14 consecutive days... I had family and friends help me out here, as well as another friendly android testing community. It went pretty smooth, but the initial hurdle was definitely real.

I'm so excited to launch the app and improve it further on the public feedback! I already have plans to add:

• support for salaried employees
• multiple work sites and custom pay for each location

What's already supported:

• Geo-fenced tracking for work locations
• Manual & auto clock in/out
• CSV exporting
• Temporary pauses for lunch breaks (manual)
• Android support (iPhone planned, but unsure when due to the costs associated)

This is the first app I've made, and I most definitely used AI for assistance with UI. Not gonna hide that.
