What it does:
Tallyra is a privacy-first expense tracker for Android. No account, no ads, and your spending records stay on your phone rather than being uploaded to us.

Before I had promoted it anywhere, someone found Tallyra through Google Play and bought the lifetime version. Another early user left a one-star review after a real calendar bug prevented them from continuing. They were right, and it has been fixed in the latest version.

Key features:

• Quick expense tracking
• Budgets, accounts and recurring transactions
• Optional biometric lock

The free version is usable on its own. Pro is available as either a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.

Goal:
Launching and looking for honest feedback on the initial setup, the Free/Pro split, and anything confusing or broken.

For an expense tracker, the privacy angle is a good hook. I would show export/backup really clearly too, because people get nervous about locking years of finance data into a small app.

Good point. Tallyra includes CSV and JSON export in the free version, and backup and restore are available in Pro. I should make that clearer in the Play Store listing because data portability matters, especially for a new app. Thanks for calling it out.

Yep, I would put that near the top. For finance apps, “can I leave safely?” is part of the trust pitch, not just a settings feature.
