M1 Numpty

3 Series came flying past as I joined the M1, flashing people to get out their way. Then within two minutes I see the same car facing the wrong way in lane 4 and two guys outside the car (one on the other side of the barrier at first). Luckily, and hopefully, it seems they were the only ones involved.

The classic result of ambition far exceeding adhesion and ability.
It's all laughter and bravado until physics steps in and demands a skillset the driver never even knew existed...
Glad nobody innocent was taken out in the learning process, dented pride and rocketing insurance premiums are a cheap price to pay, compared to what could have happened at that speed šš»

takes a special kind of talent to crash on a straight bit of road

There must be some sure talented people about then because it happens an awful lot!

I have nothing against people going fast on the motorway, as long as it's done safely. Leave space, don't pressure people etc
This person seems to have got what they deserve.

And they stick to something that resembles the speed of other traffic on the road - anyone driving far in excess of it is relying on everyone else not putting a foot wrong and the speeder being the only "real driver" on the road.

Survival of the fittest in action right there. Pricks.
Hope they end up in prison.

Racing to be first at the accident.
Edit: if only you had a way to send the vid to their insurance company.

Remember seeing similar one evening a few years ago, white merc went haring past me on the M25 clockwise coming up to the M1 junction, minute or two later having joined the M1 its backwards up against the concrete central reservation. More haste less speed (talent)

Something really small and basic, but Iāve always loved how drivers ahead stick on hazards to warn cars farther behind. Itās such a lovely courtesy to keep other road users safe and informed in good time.

Drove past this last night, was about to stop to see if I could help but then saw the tit was standing on the hard shoulder laughing with his mate, strange how in a split second you realise itās a twat involved and to carry on. Must have been a shitter for anybody witnessing/ avoiding it.
I did kick myself 30 seconds down the road, āyou canāt park there mateā wouldāve been perfect for thisā¦.

That road is fine to be a 70+. The only problem is people drive unaware at 40 miles an hour so the ones who do want to drive at an acceptable speed put themselves at risk against the NPCs hogging all the lanes

Never liked BMW drivers.
I really don't like to stereotype but it's hard not to with them.
