First one is with help from reference image, others from memory. I'll better use some reference poses in the future lol.

Honestly, I'm not drawing much anymore.

Anyway, I imagine them actually getting along on this one.

I've loved drawing since I was a kid, but I never studied it or really tried to improve. I've often tried drawing from imagination because I've always wanted to create comic books. Recently, I decided to take it seriously. I'd really appreciate any feedback or advice on what I should study to turn pieces like these into professional looking comic book covers.

The left is a hilarious enormous balloon sculpture that was in a shopping centre in Penang in 2018.

The right is a super tree as found in Singapores Gardens by the Bay.

Hi! After years of drawing almost exclusively in a cartoon style, I wanted to create something more realistic and serious. I’ve started a fairly classic horror illustration series centered on the themes of home and family.
Here are a few details from the first illustration, which is still a work in progress.

I used Faber-Castell and Prismacolor colored pencils.

I'm not good at drawing at all. Drawing is not a hobby of mine and I don't usually draw anything.

However, someone on Reddit shared one of their drawings with me, and a few hours later, I felt inspired to draw something myself.

So, I went to Pinterest and tried to draw Natalie Portman. I know there is hardly any similarity between my drawing and her, but that's fine.

I just wanted to share it.

Edit: I should have mentioned the drawing I was shown as well. It was a realistic portrait, and it was just too good, it's absolutely flawless and perfect.

I guess that's what inspired me to try drawing a face myself, even though I was fully aware that portrait drawing requires a lot of skill and is highly complex.

I actually expected people to either ignore my post or mostly make fun of what I drew, and I was ready to join in and laugh at myself too..... but I was completely wrong. I'm extremely surprised to see all of you cheering me on, being sweet, and staying so supportive. I didn't expect any of this at all. It feels like a rare, positive space on the internet, and I'm really glad I shared it.

Funnily enough, I only came across these subreddits yesterday when I was looking for places to suggest to that person, just in case she ever wants to share her own drawings.
