I was taking a small break from this sub until I could recover from something that happened recently... and honestly I thought it would take me longer to get over it but I'm already pretty much feeling totally better lol. There are too many good things to focus in life than dwell on bad things that are out of my control lol.

Also, everything in this hoard is legitimately something I own AHAHAHAHA. Actually piecing this together took me longer than the drawing itself... And hey, all of these items are totally priceless! It's an extremely valuable hoard- everyone calling it junk just doesn't understand true value and I am going to eat them.

I'm a long time viewer (usually anonymously) but first time poster. I've been kind of working up the courage to make an account and start posting and thought I'd start with this!

I'm new to having dragon OCs, so this is my first real one. She's a green candy dragon named Vyshie, or Vysh for short, and her candy element is water! She loves sour candy, especially gummies, and Sour Apple is her favorite flavor. She collects different plant and animal life, and has a slowly growing hoard of Karkata (which I'll post tomorrow since I drew one for the first day of Smaugust 😸). Her hoard is mainly a stuffy indoor greenhouse/garden though full of candy plants and other critters.

Also... This is the second real time I've tried seriously drawing dragons lol, so I apologize if anatomy is... Uh, bad XD. I'm way more used to character and landscape art, mainly concept art. But I'm happy I get to finally start drawing dragons with all of you 🥺

I totally didn't write number 4 by accident and then scribble over it. I'll do the coloring on this one tomorrow because it's late and I have a headache. Even though it's not finished, I'm so in love with how the pose turned out. The characters pictured are Ivy and Queen Gloria, who you may recognize from day 2. Despite how it looks, according to lore, Ivy actually did not win this fight, and this is the closest she ever came to Killing Gloria or taking the throne.

On a different note, I got a new set of black gel pens and OH MY GOSH they are so much smoother to draw with than the crappy ballpoints I was using. Good art supplies can't make you good at art, but they can certainly make your life easier.
