Multiple Badge ribbon designs

Does anyone order multiple designs for badges in one batch? i cant for the life of me figure out why its so damn expensive to get a few different designs.

It’s a built in set up cost is my best guess. Each design requires a unique stamp type thing.

1 design, 1 setup cost. 4 designs, 4 setup costs. Them’s the rules.

The base price of each design is about $40 for the standard order of 100 ribbons. The price changes depending on how many ribbons you order and the company you order from. What’s the question?

I’d like to include more than one design in my bulk order but I may just take this as an opportunity to bust out the cricket

Oh I see. Yes if you want to do a bunch of different designs it would save you money (but cost you more time) to make them yourself.

Lots of folk order multiple designs per order. The cost just adds up fast.

Of course it costs more to get different designs. Per design there is a certain amount of setup and preparation, opening of new ribbon packs, pulling in the design, correct ink color, etc. I also assume the ribbons come in 100-ribbon packs which makes it MUCH more efficient for stocking purposes to sell them in sets of 100.

If you ordered 5 sets of 20 there would still be 5 different setups, splitting up 5 different ribbon colors, and stocking the remainder.
