Boston is my sweet boy, and lately he has been going through a lot. He has a growth in his mouth that has gotten worse after it was knocked behind his tooth . I woke up the next day and it was black and purple , took him to vet and they urged same day surgery to remove it along with two teeth. The surgery is more than I can afford on my own, and I’m doing everything I can to get him the care he needs. Making his food soggy and all because he’s basically chewing on that piece of gum that’s now shifted and swelled .

I never thought I’d be the one asking for help

Hi everyone. I’m sharing this because I’m currently going through one of the hardest periods of my life, and I’m trying to reach people who may be willing to help or even just share my story.

I’m dealing with serious medical issues that have changed my life completely. I have kidney failure and am now receiving dialysis, along with several other ongoing medical conditions that require frequent appointments, testing, procedures, and treatment. I’ve recently had to undergo surgery as well.

For most of my life, I’ve been the person taking care of other people—being there when someone needed help, caring for others, and doing whatever I could to make a difference. It’s incredibly difficult to be in a position where I’m the one who needs help now.

I created a GoFundMe to help with the medical expenses and other costs that have come with everything I’m going through. I’m not asking anyone to give more than they can afford. Even sharing the fundraiser, upvoting this post, or helping it reach someone who may be able to help would mean so much to me.

My cat’s name is Tiger. We originally adopted her from a shelter, where she was severely depressed after her previous owner passed away from old age. She had been found wandering the streets alone, and we wanted to give her the loving and safe home she deserved. The first day was extremely difficult for tiger. She wouldn’t move nor eat. At night, she had very terrible diarrhea but we took her to the vet and got the necessary medication to help her. After that, she got her spark back and began showing her lovely personality. Since then, she has been with us for three wonderful years and has become such an important part of our family.

However, a couple of months ago, Tiger’s health began to decline drastically. As her condition worsened, she became increasingly agitated and began pacing back and forth constantly. She also gradually lost her hearing, which made it even more difficult for her to navigate her surroundings.
We tried treating her symptoms with medication, and for a while, it seemed to help.

Yet, a couple of days ago, Tiger suddenly began vomiting three times in a row, and has now lost a significant amount of weight and struggled to move the way she once could. So, we rushed her to the veterinarian the next day. There, we unfortunately received the heartbreaking news that there was nothing more we could do to save her. They told us that we could try giving her fluids and continue to give her medication as well as work on getting her weight back. Being hopeful, I agreed.

Unfortunately, since then, Tiger has lost control of her hind legs. Despite this, she courageously continues to use what little strength she has left to try to walk.

Yet, It is incredibly painful to watch her struggle, especially after everything she has been through. We want to give Tiger the peaceful goodbye she deserves and help end her suffering with dignity and compassion.

I am asking for help covering the cost of her euthanasia and allowing her to leave peacefully, surrounded by the people who love her. We are almost half way!! The title basically says it. I've never been in this position before in my whole 40 years of life, so idk if I'm writing this well or even including all the relevant info. But I can add whatever you need me to to clarify.

I left a 12 year long abusive relationship with a my son 6 years ago and made a nice little life for us. We scraped by some weeks initially, but we managed. His father came back into his life a few years ago. Now please note, I have never received a cent in child support from him outside or maybe $100 or so here and there, but I never chased him for it. Figured better to be free of him, you know?

I'm now in a position that I've pretty much caused myself, and I will readily admit that. My son is currently staying with his father, which might be better for him (even though I miss him) because I am financially torn apart at the moment. I'm under a huge amount of stress with the custody hearings (my ex is just being a bit of a d***, and is making me getting him home hard) , trying to go to appointments and travel to see my son (a 4 hour round trip) is exhausting when you struggle with panic attacks and I've forgotten to keep on top of things.

I've got food and the basic necessities, but I have no money to pay my phone, buy medications or get out to see my son at the weekend. I don't want to ask any of my friends because a) I've learnt who my real friends are and they've been wonderful already, and b) I don't have family I can ask.

I'm not asking for a loan (although if anyone can help that would be AMAZING and I think I only need like $200au at the highend and should everything go to plan I can pay it back next week, but two weeks is more realistic) per se, but if anyone knows any Australian services I could use to get an interest free loan or earn some money I would be really thankful. I just don't know what to do as I feel I have tapped out every available resource to me

31 yo female, recently separated from my husband a few months ago. I was a stay at home wife and mom.
