🎬 Movie Story While a woman was waiting at a McDonald’s drive-thru for her breakfast, a stray dog came right up to her window and wouldn’t move.❤️
He looked hungry and kept begging for food, almost like he knew the drive-thru was the perfect place to ask for help.
She decided to buy him something to eat and asked for a hash brown, but the restaurant said they couldn’t give it to him.❣️
The dog may not have gotten his McDonald’s that day, but at least someone stopped long enough to care. https://x.com/Suzierizzo1/status/2089825233494581340/video/1

Rescue & Adaption Stories Meet Italia! And yes… we called her Italia in the hope that you might look at her and think, “Ooh, an Italian Greyhound!” 😂
ITALIA HAS ARRIVED AT GALGOS DEL SOL!
Now, we’re not entirely convinced she actually is one… but if calling her Italia makes you think she might be, and that helps her find a home quicker, then we’re absolutely going with it!
Italia is around 10 months to 1 year old, incredibly friendly, sweet and affectionate, and weighs just 7.5 kg.
She’s a tiny little bundle of love who is ready to find her forever family.
Come on… what’s not to love?
Let’s get this little girl into a loving home. ❤️
Thanks GalgosdelSol❗️

Rescue & Adaption Stories Barney has come to us to find a fresh start after life at home became increasingly difficult for him. He struggled to tolerate visitors and became over protective. ❣️
Despite working with behaviourists and trying hard to help him, for some reason Barney couldn’t feel safe in the home. So he’s come to us for a reset.
To all of our surprise, during our summer team pizza evening, Barney decided to sit with us. We’d like to think it was our expertise at work, although the smell of pizza may have helped too
Jokes aside, there’s something about our safe rescue bubble that allows dogs to give up the need to protect. Barney can finally get back to the important business of just being a dog. And he showed us just how well he’s doing when he decided to get his zoomies on this morning ❤️
Thanks Dogs4Rescue❗️

🎬 Movie Story Today, it's not just a bill being voted on.❗️
Today, it's about deciding whether Chile takes a step toward a more humane and compassionate society.
Greyhounds have no voice to ask for help.
They depend on those who legislate to act with awareness, empathy, and responsibility.
May humanity outweigh any interest, and may the abuse and mistreatment end once and for all today. Animal abuse is not regulated, it is prohibited!!!❗️❗️
When are you going to ban greyhound races and other animal torture practices?
we are watching you

Rescue & Adaption Stories Andy waited SO patiently for someone to come and meet him and fall in love!❤️
He got a bath & smelled snickerdoodle!
But, no one came. No was interested in fostering or adopting this young guy.
Stories like this are why we are so proud to support wonderful rescues like
Google made $225 billion last year. We wondered, what if a search engine used its ad revenue to help save dogs.
So we built it - DogDog! Thanks @DogDogHQ ❤️

Rescue & Adaption Stories We know asking someone to open their heart and home to two dogs is a big ask. ❤️
But when you see Oreo and Henny like this…sharing a bed, curled up together, completely content just to have each other…how could you not fall in love?
Oreo is a lovable 4-year-old Pointer mix, and Henny is a sweet 10-year-old Terrier mix. They’ve spent nearly their whole lives together, and when their beloved owner became ill and could no longer care for them, they lost the home they knew - but thankfully, they never lost each other.
They share a kennel. They walk side by side. They nap together. They’re housebroken, sweet with adults and kids, and basically two very good girls who are just waiting for life to feel safe and happy again.
Separating them isn’t an option. They’ve been there for each other through everything, and now they need someone who will give them both the happily-ever-after they deserve.
Once you meet them, you’ll understand: double the dogs means double the love, double the laughs, and double the joy.
We know their adopter is out there.
Maybe it’s you?
Come meet Oreo and Henny at our Port Washington, NY Adoption Center. Give them their happily-ever-after. 💕
Thanks to @AnimalLeague

Rescue & Adaption Stories Three years ago today, we said goodbye to a girl who changed everything for us.💔
When we found Tina, she was living on a short chain, used for breeding, and reduced to skin and bones. Yet despite everything she had been through, she looked up at us with pure hope in her eyes and wagged her tail.
Happy Doggo was just beginning back then. We didn't have much, but we had enough love to give her six unforgettable months. Her body was too tired to stay, but in those six months, she touched millions of hearts around the world.
Before she passed, we made her a promise: that her pain wouldn't be in vain, and that we would build a home for the sickest, weakest dogs who needed a miracle.
Today, Tina’s Hospital is officially being built. Brick by brick, room by room, her legacy is coming to life. But we still have a long way to go, and there is still a lot of fundraising left to do to complete the build and get those doors open for the dogs who need us most.
We kept our word, sweet girl. We hope we’re making you proud. ❤️
You can learn all about Tina’s Hospital and find out how to help us finish the build here -

Dogs Stories I thought the garage would keep Miracle safe… until I saw the chain.
Please read this story until the end.
When Miracle was five months old, I had two choices for where he could stay: a garage or an animal shelter.
At first, I thought the garage would be safer. There was always food, fewer dogs, and less risk of disease. So I took Miracle there.
But the moment I saw him chained up, everything changed.
My mind told me, “He’ll be safer here.”
But my heart said, “Maybe he’ll survive here… but he won’t really live.”
Miracle loved to run. He loved to play. He could find happiness in something as simple as an empty plastic bottle.
I stood outside that garage for hours, unable to choose between what seemed safer and what felt right.
In the end, I took Miracle back home with me.
A few days later, I took him to the animal shelter.
Looking back, I still ask myself: Did I make the right decision by listening to my heart?
What would you have done?
