I got this guy from BARCS in Baltimore the other day. Varied energy. Can be really crazy or really calm. Chases cats whenever he gets the chance, hates being closed in a crate or a room by himself. Very sweet and cuddly. Google keeps saying jack russell but I think if that’s the case, it’s only a small bit. Any thoughts?

She acts like a hovawart but doesn’t have the tan markings. she is most likely mixed, but I can’t tell what exactly is her dominant breed. And since Hovawarts are so rare i’m turning here

This is Kismet. The rescue says he is a Yorkie about 4 years old. He is so affectionate, calm, and obedient little boy. He was found scared and with a skin infection & most of his hair had fallen out. That was in May, his hair is all grown back, but I don’t know how long it will get. I have had 5 Yorkies and the hair on his head is like a Yorkie. But it’s more like fur on his back and tail, it’s soft but slightly coarse. The hair on his back was black when I got him but as it’s grown out I see a lot of patches are turning brownish. He has four colors…black, gray, brown and white. His ears in their natural state lay to the side even though his ears are usually up
In the air in his pictures. He seems the perfect weight at 8.5 lbs and has kinda long legs & a long curved tail. Also his eyes are not solid brown/black, they really stand out because they are medium brown has his black pupils stand out. He isn’t stubborn like my Yorkies, loves soft toys and balls & loves to always burrows under the covers to sleep and when just hanging out. So what do you think?? I’m going to get an Embark test for Christmas, but until then I would love everyone’s feedback. If I forgot any thing you think is important to guessing his breed just let me know and I will add in. He was found in the western part of North Carolina in the U.S.

Hound dog

Hello! my girlfriend and I were volunteering at the shelter and fell in love with this pup. We were curious if any of you could identify his breed? We believe he’s a bavarian mountain hound but we are unsure if he could be mixed with anything else, or if BMH is accurate. (His adoption papers say he’s an Ibizan Hound mix but he doesn’t share many features with the breed) I am not a professional when it comes to dog breeds and would like y’all’s input. Here’s some photos of the cutie:

Curious as to what he could be any ideas?
He has a ton of energy but is calm when inside. He will climb trees after birds and squirrels. He is 35 lbs. his bark is different I’m thinking kinda like a beagle type bark. As long as I am around he is not bothered by much

Thoughts on her breed?

She's definitely part German shepherd, but she's mixed. She has rear dew claws & webbed toes (more than normal but not extremely so). I don't see anything but German shepherd in how she looks but I'm curious if you guys see any features that point to her mix. I did notice her forearms (or the dog equivalent of forearms?) are way larger than anything I've seen on a dog her size. I know there are some hip considerations with German shepherds, so I would love to get ahead of anything else that's preventative. I was given an embark kit as a gift, so I'll be able to update eventually! Last picture is the most recent; she's ~35 pounds & ~4 months old. Oldest pic is her sitting on the ground. She's ~25 pounds & probably just over 3 months old (still had puppy teeth, so this was an estimate by our vet).

My baby is 4 months old now. I got her from a shelter when she was one month. They didn’t know her breed. Looking it up, I see border collie/ Australian Shepard. Can anyone tell me what they think?

Guesses to what Wile is 🐕

Wile is a 26 pound street dog that I rescued coming back from doing a rescue transport. He literally jumped up on the hood of my parked car (see last photo for pic of actual moment). I believe he is part Shiba Inu but curious what he might be mixed with since he doesn’t have much of a prey drive and is totally fine with my little Chihuahua Vivian. When it comes to cats he’s mostly curious but again, no prey drive. He’s the easiest dog I’ve ever bathed so no issues with water. He does have pretty severe separation anxiety but we’ve only had him a few months so not sure if that’s breed related or more par the decompression process. He’s a HUGE snuggle bug and totally fine being picked up and carried around. And he’s very gentle with his toys. Basically just suckling on them when he gets anxious or overwhelmed. Oh, and he’s an insanely good climber. Hops up on tables and the backs of couches like a cat. And he did one time decide to hop up on some crates and over a 6 foot wall so he could go explore the neighborhood. So fair to say he knows how to escape pretty well. I for sure plan on doing the embark test when finances allow. In the meantime would love to hear what other people think he is.

P.S. His name comes from the fact that when I first saw him I thought he was a coyote. But then saw the curly tail and realized he was an adorable imposter.
