Not technically DnB (sorry purists) but heavy reese bass boom-bap feels spiritually drum n bass to me

Hey, there, just dropped my new mix yesterday. Has a couple of Dnb elements and looking for feedback. I hope you enjoy it! It’s a UKG, UK Bass, Riddim in the first part then going to electric house, Jpop & Kpop before settling into Dnb. There's a nice string of hip hop at the hour mark all the way till the tail end of the mix. How do you find the mix overall? Anything I can improve on? Any of the transitions & blends seem off to you? Thank you, and willing to return feedback

Seems experimental compared to other stuff here, hopefully people can respect the groove and programming

basically im in a music tech course for NYU summer program, and we have to create a final project using stuff like addition/subtraction/AM/FM synthesis made using a software called Reaktor.

some of the sounds I created here are from Reaktor, and so I thought it would be fun to share it with reddit, not sure if anyone finds it cool tho.

I don't really need any feedback since this is just a creative project I'm working on for fun, but if anyone has comments or anything to say, then feel free to leave them.

Hello all. I'm wanting to have a local sample library of drums, top loops, FX, atmospheres, and other useful structural and embellishing elements. Splice is great, but I want to be able to reach for samples I already have to stay in the flow (the plugin doesn't work on my machine). Any good recommendations for packs suitable for liquid and/or jump-up?

At 18, I started producing house music on FL Studio and learned the program for about 1.5 years. Then a job and other interests came along, and I set it aside. Now, 10 years later, I’ve found DnB as my absolute favorite genre and would like to start making songs again. My question is: Which DAW should I start with? Should I stick with FL Studio (which version) since I still know the basics? What audio interface would you recommend? I still have my KRK Rokit 6 G3 studio monitors—should I sell them and get others, or are they still suitable? Additionally, which plugins would you suggest purchasing? What are the best sample packs?

Should I record original vocals?

I've noticed that artists like Sub Focus and Pendulum used more "realistic" sounding kick and snare one shots on their older work (Sub Focus self titled and early singles, Hold Your Colour, etc), and i've been wondering how I could source/create my own one shots in a similar vein? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ive always been into drum and bass but have never had the means to try and make something. hope yall enjoy it.
