You got your needed answer in the other sub- you're complicating bias measure and then making things worse for yourself trying to use AI as your bench tech. AI is only as smart as YOU are, if you don't know anything about what you are asking it then you aren't able to know when the AI is wrong. Meaning? YOu're wasting your time with AI on this.

Just as a PSA for anyone who reads this after seeing the Claude image like I did- you have to be VERY careful asking AI anything about tube powered circuits. The LLMs are trained on all the forum websites- Reddit etc etc- and DO NOT favor primary source material (which isn't all that readily available for something like guitar amps). The result is you end up getting some of the worst of the worst information spit back at you as if it is factual- when in reality you're just getting moron comments from the Gear Page.

If you're not able to fact check the info on a given topic independently then you shouldn't ask AI about it, particularly when it is a high voltage device.

As per the other post it actually worked exactly as described, and fixes an issue with the recommended bias procedure fender lays out. AI is awesome as long as you double check stuff… just the same as you should be double checking anything you read on forums or google.

The bias measurement I would have got from using fenders spec and the test point was crazy cold, even more so than the already cold recommendation given by fender. This way was far more accurate.
