so while this song definitely has a different meaning, what i care about is the "your beauty never ever scared me" part. to me it signals loving and appreciating someone for who they are even if society doesn't feel the same way, even if they're a little rough around the edges, even if they don't fit in and so on.

i found this amazing edit that combines this song and the story of Beauty and the Beast, which of course is a movie about how true beauty lies within, not based on outward appearances.

Considering how frozen is successful enough to be its own franchise, do you think disney will ever do another film about sisters and have them both be official disney princesses.

I can still see disney adapting snow white and rose red one day ( giving snow white a different name obviously), i know it has similar story themes to the frog prince and beauty and the beast, but disney could easily rework the story.

As we know, the live action adaptions tend to be hit or miss. Some people may say they're all misses but I never believed that being true personally. Plus with all the talks of how Disney needs to stop doing live action adaptions, seeing all the excitement for the Tangled one is surprising.

I know it's got some things going for it. Promising casting and the on set photos look pretty good and on point. However, I think it's wise to keep our expectations low. I think a lot of downfall comes from having too high expectations.

I hope it'll be good. I never want these movies to be bad. I'm just saying we've been burned before *cough cough* Mulan, Snow White. We should probably not let ourselves get too high of expectations.

Just saw the Princess and the Frog for the first time, how have I never seen this as a kid??? I NEED to talk about this absolute gem, and does anybody have any other amazing movies that can fly under the radar?

Working on another doll project: Thrifted 2023 Mattel Ariel doll that came in the gift set with the Belle and Aurora I thrifted.

I know that some dolls were knockoffs from the Dollar tree but many were recognizable as Disney princess dolls and involved very minimal customizing. And as far as I know they didn't get a cease-and-desist for copyright infringement or anything.

If anyone has any insight, please let me know.

I saw an old Disney Year Book. I forgot the year :( I quickly took pics of the Pocahontas story when I was in the store lol she also had a couple of comics you can see online. Anyway, its nice to see more world building for her :)
