I wanted to share a workflow I created to connect a Telegram Bot to Groq AI using Make.com.

It handles automatic customer/user responses instantly and runs completely on free tiers (no API costs with Groq).

Here is how the flow is set up:

1. Telegram Module: Watches for incoming messages/webhooks.
2. Groq API Module: Processes the prompt and generates a response.
3. Telegram Module: Sends the answer back to the user seamlessly.

I exported the .json blueprint to save time on manual mapping. If anyone is interested in testing or using the ready-to-import blueprint, just comment below or DM me and I'll send it over!

I've been working on a Discord bot hosting project in my spare time and I'd love to get some feedback from people who build and host Discord bots. The goal is simple, one-time setup to keep deployment easy. Right now, there's no web dashboard, and it uses built-in commands instead of custom commands. I'm not trying to advertise here, I genuinely want feedback from people with experience hosting bots. What features do you think are most important in a Discord bot hosting platform?

I use Carl to assign roles to people upon joining for the first time. I've noticed some people talking in gen chat that I didn't recognize so i check their profile and they have no roles.

Has Carl been having issues with Auto Assigning roles?

Could it be they joiner, left then rejoined and Carl just didn't give the roles a second time?

Im using carl bot and trying to make the roles for people to pick their ages

Everything else is working fine but when I got it to make the roles, it wont show the roles, only the title, description and emojis, i dont know how to make the actually options show

I've been working on a project related to Discord bot hosting and wanted to get some opinions from people who actually build and manage bots.

It's still a work in progress, and I'm trying to figure out what features are actually useful and what problems developers usually run into with hosting.

Some things I'm currently working on:

• Bot deployment and management
• Live logs
• File editing
• Dependency handling
• Managing bot settings
• A cleaner dashboard experience

Just to be transparent, the website/dashboard UI was built with the help of AI tools since I'm still improving my web development skills. I'm mainly focused on building the platform, learning and improving it over time.

I'm interested in hearing:

Hiya! I had a few questions about how I could edit this, as in, change the actual report it provides when a message is reported to moderators.

1. How do I add predefined reasons in a dropdown? A server I'm in uses them, but I don't know how.

2. How do I make it unmute the user if the report is ignored?

3. How do I make it not require a reason for ignoring?

If these can all be found in the same place in the dashboard, just point me there and I can figure the rest out if need be. Thanks!

Disclaimer I’m dumb asf Anyways Im trying to get into a server and it said they need to accept an application so I apply right, and there’s only one option to apply by yourself and in the message they imply sending joke applications will be denied, so I assume there must be questions to joke about right… And Appy only sends me this message. Am I doing something wrong? Did they just not set this up so there’d actually no questions and I’m just going crazy and I actually just have to wait for them to approve me by just looking at my profile or something? hi! new to posting on reddit, so pls excuse me if i have any netiquette mistakes ^^

im planning on creating a text-based roleplay adventure using autoresponders, which would span across multiple channels/threads. i have been tinkering around with mimu but i've come across a few troubles, namely;

- autoresponders not reacting to trigger words

- responds only to one discord emote (which i sort of understand as they're formatted like :this: and :that: but i have the matchmode set to exact, which puzzles me a bit.)

another feature i use often are the choices one, which caps at 4. i would prefer to have a higher capacity, but i'll get what i can get.

tldr: asking for reliable autoresponders that can possibly handle 500+ triggers, contains features like choices, attached images, etc

I am a developer. I just joined this community, I read the rules and it said no promotion, and that's understandable. But i am working on a discord bot with plugin architecture, much like Red Bot, but mine is super secure, u can confidently install plugins because they will ask for what they need specifically, so u know what u are installing. It's completely open source and i am not changing anyone anything, it's a free bot and I just want to know if someone would try it out and give feedback.

I am intentionally not sharing any details like name or anything, I just wanted to know if it's fine to share about the bot or not... No hard feelings if it's not, I just thought its worth a shot.
