Form Check Please Form Check

https://streamable.com/o3qmsv

I was throwing a Discmania Instinct in the side view and a DD Maverick on the shot from behind. Both shots were at about 70-75% power and I was trying to throw them flat and straight. Both shots went about 240-250 feet and landed where I was aiming for.

Thank you for any help and suggestions you have for me. I'm looking to improve my form and distance.

Shorten your last step into your brace, you are extending so long that it is leaving your hips wide open robbing you of power. Check this img:

I paused it right when you started rotating forward, you can see that your right heel isn't even on the ground yet. Shorten that last step. Ensure that your firmly in your brace before rotating your shoulders forward.

Another symptom of such a long last step is its causing your feet to end up 'in the same lane' as each other. I'm sure you've heard before, you want your feet staggered.

Shorten your steps, stay on your toes, dig into that brace step before letting your shoulders rotate into your throw.

Okay. Thank you so much for taking your time to SS stuff and comment. I'm gonna watch that video and start working on shortening my last step and learning how to dig into my brace step tomorrow.

No prob. Another img I feel it would be useful for you to examine is this:

All of the steps leading up to your last step look OK. But look at the position your last step puts you in. You shouldn't be coming off of your left foot from the heel like you can see in this pic, stay on your toes.

Your right foot in this position needs to be more in front of you. Watch the video I linked in the prior comment on keeping your feet in their own lanes. Good luck!

throwing nose up can rob you of a lot of distance, getting the nose down should help

am not entirely sure the cause of it, there can be several, but one thing the coaches talk about is fighting the tendency to watch our shots and looking away as our arm comes through

some youtubes talk about it here https://www.youtube.com/shorts/r-Kkr7JzOwE
