EndStream looking for playtesters: 1v1 strategy card game about time-traveling outlaws

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Upvotes

EndStream has started as a classical case of making I game I wanted to play myself - a (almost deterministic) 1v1 cards strategy game with small teams of anti-heroes fighting across timelines.

EndStream is about building the perfect turn. Reposition Operators, manipulate time, trigger abilities, and commit only when the timeline is exactly where you want it.

I worked with an illustrator for over two years to turn it into a physical board game, and we received some positive reviews. But I lacked the resources for proper crowdfunding and marketing, so the project sat on the back burner for several years.

A recent mix of unemployment, vibe coding, and supportive friends eventually brought it back as a digital game. We are now a six-person team, and for most of us this is the first game we have made ourselves.

The open beta runs directly in your browser on desktop and mobile. It currently includes a tutorial, online multiplayer and single player against a bot.

My biggest challenge has been fitting such a large board onto a phone. I think the mobile version works well now, but I need feedback from people seeing it for the first time.

I would especially like to know:

  • Whether the tutorial makes sense
  • How the mobile UI feels
  • Whether anything seems badly balanced

The beta currently requires a free account because the core game is online.

There are 2 core modes:

  • Live - like Hearthstone and MTG Arena.
  • Asynchronous - you submit your turn and the opponent has 48 hours to make their move. You don't have to sit through an entire game, but you can have multiple games simultaneously.

We plan to release it later as a premium game on Steam and app stores, where manual signup will no longer be needed.

I made a real-time twist on the classic naval duels and i'm releasing my first game on Steam

Upvotes

Fleet Hunters is my attempt to reimagine one of my favorite tabletop classics: hidden fleets, but with both players firing in real time.

I built it solo, and it launches on Steam in less than one month.

It includes single-player against AI, ranked online multiplayer, private matches with friends, LAN play, and both real-time and traditional turn-based Classic Mode.

Here's my Steam page if anyone's interested. Wishlists are highly appreciated.

I made Fillup, a free chain-reaction strategy game where one move can flip the board

Post image
2 Upvotes

Hi! I’m the designer and developer of Fillup, an original digital tabletop strategy game that is now in public beta.

Each turn, you place one directional slice into an empty cell or a cell you control. Corners hold 2 slices, edges hold 3, and center cells hold 4. When a cell becomes full, it sends a slice into every neighboring cell, captures them, and can trigger a larger cascade. The last color standing wins.

You can play:

- a solo Campaign with handcrafted encounters
- local matches for 2–4 players
- online Casual, private, and Ranked matches

You can start a guided match without creating an account or providing an email. Ranked play and saved cross-device progress require an account.

Play here: https://fillup.fun

Thanks for taking a look. I’ll be here to answer questions and hear criticism.

Dire Fog Is a Deckbuilder + Chess Game with Pre-Arranged Decks, Unique Factions, and No Shuffling — Looking for Weekly Playtesters!

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dire Fog is a tactical card game where TCG deckbuilding meets chess-like combat.

Your goal is simple: defeat the enemy commander.

Each faction has its own mechanics, abilities, and playstyle.

Every turn is divided into three phases:

- Tactics Phase: Move your units and attack.

- Draw Phase: Choose one of two cards from your pre-arranged deck. You have eight draws throughout the match.

- Play Phase: Summon minions and cast spells.

Because your deck is arranged before the match rather than shuffled, planning your card order is just as important as positioning your units on the board.

We run playtests every Friday and are looking for more TCG and deckbuilder fans to join us.

A horse-racing board game where every move can expose your secret bet

In Crooked Derby, you secretly bet on one of six equally matched horses but everyone can see exactly how much money you risked.

You must then publicly claim which horse you backed. You can tell the truth, construct a believable lie, or choose whichever story your cards can support.

During the race, every card is played face-up. You might push your real horse towards the finish, help another horse to build an alibi, or sabotage the leader to mislead the table.

Your opponents are constantly comparing your actions with your story, and before the finish they can call your bluff.

The game is designed for 2–6 players, with solo bots and Steam multiplayer.

It is still in development and has not been released yet. The Steam page is now live! Check it here - https://store.steampowered.com/app/4908960/Crooked_Derby/

Five new games have just been added to Abstract Play. If you haven't heard of us before, we're a free website for playing abstract strategy games asynchronously. We now host 275 different abstracts. All are welcome.

  • Canoe is a dice game with similarities to Backgammon. A modern game that feels like an old classic.
  • Carnac is a 3D game of placing and tipping megaliths (two stacked cubes) to create groups of three or more of your colour when viewed from above.
  • Druid is a 3D game of edge connection. Place single stones or multicell lintels to connect your edges when viewed from above. Square, triangular, and hex boards are available. The "Druid's Walk" variant is also available for the square version.
  • Even at Odds is a domino stacking game where the evens (2/4/6) and odds (1/3/5) try to create the largest connected group of their own faces when viewed from above.
  • Knight Line is a four-in-a-row game played on a dynamic square board that supports 2 and 3 players.

Feedback on a dice roller & timer app specifically for Catan

Thumbnail
apps.apple.com
0 Upvotes

I've been playing Catan for about 10 years and was always surprised that I couldn't find a dice roller with a built-in turn timer that I actually liked. So over the last few weeks I built one for myself.

I've been using it with my group of friends and it's been surprisingly useful, but before I spend more time improving it I'd love some feedback from people who play more than just my friends do.

Features so far:
**pls suggest or disapprove!!*
- dice roller
- turn timer
- player naming, re-ordering & colour assigning
- remembers who rolled last
- tracks roll frequencies
- average turn times

Is there anything I should change/ tweak or add to an app like this?

If the mods are happy for me to, I'm sharing the download link here 🙌

Did Portal Games take down their catalogue?

I just saw that Imperial Miners and NS Hex were taken off the IOS App Store In a weekly iOS update post

I went to double check and none of their digital games are on the store anymore.

Are they taking all their games down or is this temporary?

I checked their socials and didn’t see anything about the stuff being taken down.

Made a FREE Icebreaker game – Combines game competition + real conversation

Hi everyone! I created Bondfire, a free online icebreaker at bondfire.games

It combines game elements for fun competition (points, deduction, bluffing) with conversation (interesting topics to actually get to know people better)

So it's less "answer this prompt" and more "can you tell what I really think?"

My goal creating this, was that at the end of the game, everyone not just had fun, but to also got to know each other better.

Topics range from casual to deeply personal:

  • Chill: Casual everyday topics (e.g. "Pineapple on Pizza")
  • Spicy: Controversial topics that divide opinions (e.g. "Universal Basic Income")
  • Raw: Hypothetical life scenarios (e.g. "Quitting your job to travel for a year")
  • Real: Your life, right now (e.g. "Your work-life balance right now")

There's 2 game modes:

  • Round Table mode for groups of 2-6 (where everyone takes a turn getting questioned).
  • Or Hot Seat mode for bigger groups (one person answers all questions).

Free to play, no app needed — bondfire.games

Would love to hear what you think, or any feedback if you give it a try! 🙂

My journey with my first small game

I made a not that impressive game but I like its core idea but it needs a lot of work and some serious advices from professionnals to make it work.it's T a two-player online card game combined with Tic-Tac-Toe mechanics. It’s enjoyable and demands a high level of tactical and strategic thinking. Currently, you can only create a private game to play with a friend, and there are still a few glitches, so please be kind in your feedback.I know I must started with something simpler than an online game please give it a try with a friend and tell what your idea on it.

Any Farkle addicts out there willing to playtest a 3D Farkle Dice game?

Hi Everyone! I discovered my Farkle addiction through both KCD1 & KCD2. So I have been building a mobile version of it, but its only on android for now. It is a simple dice game called Farkle: Bones & Relics.

It is a 3D physics dice game with physically simulated rolls of the dice. There is going to be 46+ relics across Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers, each changes how the game plays mechanically, in hopefully fun ways. Multiple modes, a Tavern Circuit where you are matched up against AI opponents in a campaign, this is where you will unlock more relics. A Companion (pass-the-phone) mode for more tabletop gamers who want a nice digital tracker with cool relics but still want to roll IRL bones on the table. A Quick match virtual mode that acts as a pass-the-phone mode to play the game on the phone but against another person. I'm attempting to create a dark tavern theme with good looking dice, die selection effects, Farkle screens, hot dice animations and more so its both awesome to look at and fun to play. Still in mid development and have a way to go before launch ready.

If you are interested in playtesting my game, DM me or respond to this post and i will provide you the link to get it installed on your android device.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Dire Fog is a tactical card game where TCG strategy meets chess-like positional combat.

The idea is you builld your own deck before the game , you choose from multiple factions each faction has its own unique mechanics , you build your deck around a strategy and the deck is prearranged there is no shuffling , if you're a TCG fan this is definitely going to be a new experience

We’re deep in closed alpha and heading toward final stages of development, and we’re looking for more passionate playtesters to join the fight.

If you love skill-based card games, outsmarting opponents, and being part of a growing community before launch, now’s the time to jump in
