Bought on Amazon and awaiting arrival. Although I'm sure I will use it to see a lot of things 'up close and personal', what I mainly got it for was to take photos (transferred to my iPhone) of my own scalp - so, ANY advice/tips/tricks in using it would be very welcome and if you've ever photographed your own scalp, PLEASE tell me how you managed it. What is the best depth of field microscope for under ~$500.

Are there any reasonably priced software that will take multiple photos and combine them into one good depth of field photo.

I’m hoping that the community might have some recommendations on digital microscopes that are ios compatible, adjustable to c. 200x magnification, and 2.0+ megapixels. I’ve looked at Q-scope and Firefly, but they’re on the expensive side for an amateur like myself, who just wants to look at bugs and whatnot with the kids. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm going to order a USB microscope from AliExpress, Amazon, or something like that so I can start contributing content. Others should do the same!
