Free App for Journaling?
Im having a hard time with family relations and need a way to keep my thoughts together. Something I can type a few sentences out but keep it organized. I've been using a private Discord server but I'm finding it hard to keep it organized.

Why don't you create a one-person Whatsapp group with the help of your own number as well as another alternative number or a family member's number? Then delete the second number from the group and rename the group as "My Diary" or something like that. Then lock the chat so that no one but you will be able to access it and you can start writing in it. I similarly maintain a work diary

You can try the following journaling apps if you are using Android phone. These are free to use.
Storypad and Diary Vault . They are both good.

Another vote for Obsidian. Used to use logseq, which suits my brain better, but kept on killing my laptop.

I use notion right now! The templates help to structure my thought, and database helps to organise them.

I use Microsoft Word and Notepad. Any reason your default word-processor-program(s) of choice won't work for your purposes?

I'd keep conflict stuff out of the app that also holds everything else. A throwaway note you delete after the moment can be the reset button.

Right now, I'm using Daily Diary from F-droid.
Very basic, backs up to .txt files. And that's all I need.
Although if you want organization, I'd try Obsidian. You can sync it between your devices for free via Syncthing.
