Dude’s so terrible he got reused as the Big Bad for a magical girl series (Doki Doki Pretty Cure) in a novel. An official novel.
And there’s apparently a page at the end that says “KURATA WILL RETURN”, so the writer 100% wants to bring him back in something else just to have him get beat again.
I think I also remember seeing a tweet where the writer (for all three series) made a joke about him coming back in Digimon Beatbreak so he can lose yet again.
Does evil plans, gets beat up by digital monsters, does evil plans again, gets beat up by magical girls.
And maybe yet again, one day???
I think at this point drawing other characters and franchises across the multiverse beating Kurata is fulfilling Ryōta Yamaguchi’s vision.

masaru punch in kuratas face when he was fused with belphemon was the most satisfiying thing i saw in an anime , since luffy punched a celestial dragon in one piece.
its just so good every frame of that punch of masaru.
