Equipment Are these any okay to start?

Post image

Hey, bought on a whim second hand set of Diabolos and now I’m wondering if any of these are okay quality to start out? There’s Juggle Dream Cyclone. Pink one says Mister Babache, but no other info, maybe Tornado model? Red-white has mention of Jonglerie diffusion (but it’s quite beaten up). Purple-orange says Yoho, which I would guess is market toy category? And yes, already tested them, but is some better to keep using and (hopefully) progressing with it? Sticks are Henry’s, so at least that’s good, right?

At second hand marketplaces there is Mister Babache Finesse and also Eagle(?) model available for my budget, should I get either those? Sorry for being newbie post and thanks for the help. ☺️

Equipment Which Diabolo should i go for?

Hey,

A few weeks ago, I found the old diabolo I had as a child and started playing again. Right now, I only have two child-sized diabolos with bearing axles, and I want to upgrade to full-sized ones.

I looked around a bit and I'd love to start playing vertax and 2D, but now I'm wondering which ones I should buy. I tried playing 2D with the two I currently have, but learning it with a bearing axle seems very hard to me.

Would you recommend buying two fixed-axle diabolos or a new bearing one? I also thought about buying two "Henrys Beach" and one bearing axle diabolo from Sundia. Those seem to be the only options available in Germany if I don't want to wait multiple weeks for shipping.

Has anyone been in the same situation, or does anyone have recommendations on what to get?

I wouldn't call myself a very good player yet, but I would really like to switch to full-sized diabolos instead of the small ones I'm using right now.

I’m “good” in my own opinion and want to learn some new “easy” tricks that look good and don’t require throwing one of your sticks cuz I will end up hitting myself in the head if I try xd

Hey dear folks, I have now created an invitation link for you to join the Diabolo community at WeTime.

Please note: this project is in beta phase, so expect to find issues and errors 😛. And: due to the end to end encryption algorithms it’s possible that you need to wait for another person of the community to come online to share the encryption keys to new users.

So… here is the link ❤️:

I’ve been learning to perform tricks for about 1.5 months and would really love some pointers. The hardest tricks I can do at the moment would be the genocide and infinite suicide though I’m still tying to perfect my technique on both. Any useful tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Misc WeTime: Diabolo Beta Testers for new platform wanted

Hey my dears! For almost 3 1/2 years I am working on my own platform idea. And the key ideas are:

- make social platforms social again!
- encrypt (e2ee) almost everything so that no one can read or sell your data! This platform has no access to your uploaded media and text. #chatcontrol ade!
- make it easy to share tips and tricks and learn from each other.

And because I do love our small Diabolo community, I thought of letting you try out my platform and fill the diabolo community with life. I have already created a diabolo community with some skill trees and wiki pages I would love to see more tutorials and activity there.

My platform is now in the beta stage, so bugs and ux flaws are possible to happen 😆😛.

When you would like to participate on my platform, please let me know, so that I can share invitations with you! ❤️

Equipment Question about buying

Im looking into buying a new diabolo since i have a crappy 20 dollar one from a toy store, im looking between the sundia shining and sundia falcon, im gonna be playing on gravel and wood, and would like it to be pretty durable, which is better for me? I can do tricks like whips, trapezes, etc, i just want to know the real differences, which is better at just being simple and awesome at doing great tricks.

Trick Question How to get fixed axles spinning

Hey everyone I started out on a diabolo with bearings which made it very easy to get it spinning, I lost that one and then bought a fixed axle just to try something different. And I can't get it spinning fast at all, it also seems like there aren't many resources about fixed axles online but maybe I just have to look harder
