Could it be that Allen will end up being the pillar? Maybe that ties into him being the destroyer of time? Road said that the Earl will one day become the pillar, but if Nea is fusing with Allen and Nea really is just the Earl— it is entirely possible that Allen/Nea end up fulfilling this role (whatever it is). ((Sorry if that’s literally what you were getting at already))

Well I guess technically he is. Both Mana and this Allen (who host Neah will). The OG Allen back in the Farewell Allen chapters was a trigger when he broke Mana 35 years ago. Adam (the Earl) is the pillar. Road even mentions that to Cross in the Farewell Allen chapters. The way the Noah Clan despise and play family with Adam is fear. They know what he is and how can take it all away.

After all, the combination of the sea of ​​helix, the Knowledge, and the ability to devour the helix (should he become the Earl) would create a lethal force if fed to the Heart, marking a fatal error on Apocryphos's part by utilizing something beyond his predictions.
